I love how much support the post about Kagura on Rumiko Takahashi's Twitter has received in just a few days (I think this is now one of her four most liked posts):
Practically none of her posts have reached so many likes. Here I selected three of her recent most liked posts (and a retweet about yashahime's manga which barely reaches 1.4k 😂 so I don't think it is very popular) and none come close to what just happened with Kagura's post:
And I don't think this means other characters aren't popular or loved. I'm not trying to imply that. What I think is: this is related to everything that happened with Yashahime and the enormous support Kagura had.
Additionally, I find it interesting that, after the end of HnY, her posts about Sesshomaru are not nearly her most liked ones. Yeah, the first one is about Tenseiga and the second one is from the HnY manga that never gets many likes, but bruh, this is Sesshomaru we're talking about, isn't he one of her 3 most popular and beloved characters? a post where he is mentioned or where he appears should have a lot of support, but... just no:
