Hey, I have questions...

Since the whole Dracula hunting squad has a thing where they know shorthand with the Harkers starting first (cause I think they learned that the Count Dracula can't read shorthand), do you think that later on Alucard, who is Count Dracula, would learn shorthand?

Also do you think young Quincey Harker also was taught how to make shorthand? To continue the tradition...

There also is the fact I was wondering if Alucard would go back and read all the journals that the group made? To learn about the viewpoint of the other people and learn from his mistakes. Or maybe he does not....not wanting to relive everything that happened. But there is also would he have the opportunity to read the journals or one of the Hellsing group (like Abraham, Arthur or Integra) would try to stop him?

There also the question of if the group was okay with the fact that Abraham van Hellsing brought Count Dracula to England? Like maybe he could try and escape from the prison.

Some Abraham/Alucard fics makes me ashamed to be human...

I've always been really interested in reading fics including Alucard's relationships between his masters, especially with his first master. No offense to fic writers, but sometimes I really feel like crying after reading some fics that turn Abraham into a total sadistic bastard who gets a kick out of tormanting Alucard and considering himself a servant of God. To me that's even worse than the Major and Maxwell put together, really makes me ashamed to be the same race as he is...  

The Hellsing family is the beacon of light to Alucard, they are his keeper, guidance and protector of his last domain and sanity, and the proof of strong human will itself. Abraham himself is espcially important, the man who commands Dracula /Alucard's respect and loyalty. I simply can't imagine someone like him being a sadistic self-righteous bastard. And this is Alucard's master we're talking about, not just anyone.  

Alucard himself is also a man of will who is just too stubborn to die, he is a king, a warrior to his very bones and the word "give up" simply does not exist in his dictionary. No amount of torture could possibly make him bow his proud arrogant head, he has been through Hell and all the way back, after all. The only thing that would make him bend a knee is when he truly respects someone. And judging from that scene form the ending credits of OVA1, Abraham had command Dracula's utter respect.   

 If I were to guess, the interaction between Alucard and Abraham would loosely resemble how he reacts around Integra except for the twisted love part. I would imagine Abraham staring at Alucard with those cold piercing blue eyes while Alucard grins in anticipation and waits for his master's orders while admiring the man's strong will.

We’ve passed Munday, but hey the biggest Cosplay Convention in Sweden is rolling and I was feeling nostalgic.

It’s been a while though, but I still have my love for costumes and acting - Which is why I’m a larper now instead XD

So here we have Neliel and Toushiro Hitsugaya from bleach, as well as Ciel Phandomhive (both formal and casual - where did that t-shirt go btw I lost it) AND Abraham van Helsing and Seras Victoria from Hellsing. 

I think the last of these was... Abraham... In the red coat. It was in 2014 just before I moved to Japan - I haven’t cosplayed since then.

Character and group happenings update!

Hey lovely and fantabulous followers!

Right now we have some just a couple positions that were filled out and I’m here to update y'all!

Headcanon - The Seal

I don't even know WHY I start writing these things when I KNOW I'm tired and won't make any sense, but let's do this anyway!

Keep in mind that this is a headcanon on how the seal works. It is therefore NOT CANON and there will be no bashing here!

The seal is all in all a leash. I would want to say 'nothing more, nothing less', but merely calling it a 'leash' would be a grave simplification of it. 

It's based on alchemy and dark magic since using holy elements would pernanently damage the vampire in an undesired way, and it connects the vampire's mind with the master's. 

Through the seal, it's possible to control the restrictions of Alucard's power to ensure that he won't go overboard (which he has a tendency to do). The seal connects them but it's NOT a constant weight or a nuisance physically or mentally for any of the 'participants', so to speak.  It's a leash. Simple as that. Not a rock, not a noose, not a cliff, nothing like that. 

HOWEVER!

Pain and pleasure can both be recieved through the seal depending on what the master does with it mentally. By pushing down on it, it causes immense agony for the vampire, and by tuggin it upwards, it's possible to almost blind the vampire with arousal and pleasure.  Both tugging and pushing have their limits of course, but they're almost impossible to reach. The vampire would faint in pain before the ultimate level of pain would be released, and the vampire would have cum until he passed out before the limit of the pleasure would be reached. 

It isn't possible to hear thoughts simply because of the leash. That ability is fully Dracula's own, but it IS possible to feel emotions through the seal. Happiness, calmity, hate, rage, all of them can be felt through the seal, but no direct thoughts and words.

Abraham designed the seal to last for a century. Once that century had passed, it would have to be done again to ensure that the vampire would be bound.  If the Hellsing dies before there's a possible heir within these 100 years, the vampire's mind would die along with the human's. Once the human would die, the vampire would become nothing more than a ghoul.

He CAN be released from the servitude however without causing himself any damage and if a Hellsing without an heir dies after the sealed century, his mind will be unaffected as well. 

SO THAT IS THE SEAL EVERYBODY!

This is probably my favorite Hellsing fic. Also Dracula/Van Helsing fluff. As much as these two can do fluff anyway. 

Stockholm Syndrome and capture bonding is the worst except when you are an ancient monster and you know...you are better than way. 

This is absolutly canon in my mind.
