Oh cool, so not only does the age verification apply to posts on your dash, it applies to whole blogs. So if you've marked your blog as mature, non-verified users can't view your blog if they click on your user name.

I just saw someone in my notes, clicked on their name, and got a message saying their blog is for mature audiences and I couldn't proceed.

So basically, as a user that has had their blog marked as mature for years, I'm just shut out from people that choose not to verify. Even though I marked my blog as mature specifically so people could choose to avoid that content if they so wanted.

@staff I ask yet again, are you kidding? I tag my posts, I flag my own blog, and I'm upfront about the fact that there might be content people don't want to see. But fuck me I guess because that's not good enough.

well if you're talking about one of 3 queer characters being tortured, abused, possessed, attacked, used, and then forced to come out to people he barely knows by his abuser, is then friendzoned by the boy he's loved for years (after reducing his love to a silly crush), and THEN his 'happy ending' is that he gets to go to a gay bar where he drinks despite having years of childhood trauma from his abusive alcoholic father.

or the fact the lesbian couple gets together on screen, plan a date, don't get shown going on that date (when the straight couples get their dates), and are apparently broken up offscreen. (and the lesbian character who used to be more masc presenting now looks straight)

or the fact the queer main character's feelings are only used to further the main straight relationship, which has been broken and unhealthy from the start.

or the fact the word 'gay' or 'lesbian' or 'bisexual' is never spoken and instead 'fairy', 'fag', 'queer', and 'senstive' are used and during coming out scenes, it's 'I don't like girls' instead of 'I'm gay'.
