When your coach tells you to do something, and your body mid-bout is like “naaaaaaa faaamm”

Mask hair/fencers hair (definition): How a fencer’s hair looks after they take off their mask. Their hair is partially damp from sweat, sort of out of place with only a couple of strands on their face.
Fencers face (definition): How a fencer’s face looks after they take off their mask. Their skin is glossed over from sweat along with partial reddening of the skin giving a blushed look. Eyes are usually fully dilated and in some sort of haze. Also, lips are slightly opened and wet from dampening it with their tongue.
These two combined gives the ultimate “I just had sex” impression.

Crazy Fencing Stories
I once had a fencing tournament in NJ that a friend drove me to. Unfortunately, I ended up staying in later than my friends so it turned out I didn’t have a ride by the time I finished. So I eventually had pretty much a stranger drive me home from NJ to NY. 😁 The person turned out to be from my club but they just started there and were from a completely different weapon and I had never met then before.
