saw a post about how repulsed aro/ace rep in fiction is often disregarded for the sake of shipping & it got me thinking ab other identities that r also treated similarly. aside from aro/aces in my observation its often lesbian characters that are disproportionately denied of their sexuality for the sake of shipping, more specifically to be shipped with a man. funny how that works, huh?
