STRENGTH IS KING💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼🦍 #absolutestrength #strengthisking #truth #Repost @strongeight with @make_repost ・・・ A lot of “strength coaches” are blowing the back squatting is useless horn; Most of them are swinging on the nut sack of a few big name social media lites or Skronny neck wanna be verkoshanksys. Let’s get a few things straight. Few if any of the docs in lab coats talking like they know a fucking thing about actually being strong understand developing an athlete that isn’t already strong as fuck in relation to his body weight. Second none of the aforementioned are ever going to disprove the work of the greats; bosu balls with proprioception and pneumatic machines that cost 20k a pop are going to out do what the foundation lifts can produce in terms of developing direction / plane specific general force production. 3rd; these same idiots are missing the point of the back squat, deadlift, and bench all together. Arguing that ANY athlete at any level should forgo the general and most foundational conceptions of producing forces that enable to defeat gravity in a given direction with less effort is fucking irresponsible at best. Are Systems of training that enable us to produce forces and apply them at greater rates and more specific angles and ranges and directions essential? Absolutely. Is continuing to train maximally in order to incrementally produce more force or at the least maintain maximal force production in the foundation planes of movement essential? You’d better fucking believe it. I’ve got dozens of coaches that prove this every day with elite level athletes from every sport. And using diminishing returns as the excuse to forgo this foundation of human strength is retarded. A foundation is a foundation; and the physiological and neurological impacts of maximal strength in the big three movements CAN never be forgone - if anything it must be expanded upon. #fightme (at Rancho Cucamonga, California) https://www.instagram.com/p/B9Ki7mJB3Oj/?igshid=16en88qsh47ei
