Today I bring you... mini-sketchbook doodles! These are the four latest ones. I have a fantasy cat with an abundance of wings, and a portrait of a fantasy cat. I also have a couple of elaborate doodles of abstract, eldritch horror angels. These two alone have kept me busy through several hours of waiting rooms, car rides, classical music concerts (which I love, mind you, but I also like to draw while listening to music. I know many of you can relate to this.), and family dinners.

These are done with good ol' ballpoint pen. I keep several colors in my go-bag.

Day 7: Blood Ritual Haemorbid(Haemo...+Morbid) - [UNKNOWN]/Psychic Haemorbid were discovered around the time a cult, The House of the Empty.Composing of mainly just a heart, stray veins and arteries, and odd pure-white wings this Pokemon is the very definition of the [UNKNOWN] type. Using it's 'fangs', at the end of each blood vessel it feeds on blood though it requires no need for eating. Blood that has been pumped in the heart of Haemorbid can be expelled and controlled by the pokemon itself. It is believed there are other beings like Haemorbid, though consisting of other types of organs. Haemmoral(Haemo...+Immoral) - [UNKNOWN]/Psychic It was previously believed that Haemorbid were unable to evolve, until the introduction of the mysterious item 'Red Dust'. Once exposed, this pokemon displays a personality of a 'Gaurdian'. Guarding those it considers 'Pure', such as children, from all harm. It considers behaviors such as Lechery, Jelousy, Wrath, Vanity, Overconsumption, Greed, and/or Sloth as the lowest you can go. Thus Haemmoral will seek out those who commit these 'sins' and drink out their bad blood. The drinking process is unable to be seen by none Legendary beings, though those who have been 'drank from' suffer paranoia and fear over being secretly watched for exactly seven days. Haemortem(Haemo...+Mortem) - [UNKNOWN]/Psychic While holding a Gold coin in any resting place, a Haemmoral can evolve into Haemortem. This Pokemon folds over it's top pair of wings as to guard it's Heart/body. The spike and two halos play a part in this creature's battling as it's abilties change regarding which halo the spike is currently through. The top halo will give Haemortem the ability to damage others by spreading ailments, while the bottom halo gives Haemortem the ability to heal others. Haemortem have a strict concept of mortality, and thus cannot comprehend ghosts or the undead. Making them invisible to the Haemortem's non-existant eyes. There is a rumor that the discovery of Red Dust has re-ignited the rebirth of the old cult. [Yes, I made an abstract angel. And yes, I barely know how wings look. Don't ask me why this thing has teeth.]

My senior project, the Seven Deadly Virtues!

“The Seven Deadly Sins are a common motif among artists and designers, and many forms of media have featured groups of individuals representing Wrath, Envy, Greed, Gluttony, Sloth, Lust and Pride. Less often seen, however, are the Seven Heavenly Virtues, the benign counterpart to the sins. For my senior project I have chosen to design seven Angels based on the motif of the Seven Heavenly Virtues. However, these angels are not the winged beauties so often seen in modern media. My angels take inspiration from old biblical descriptions of angels, often possessing multiple wings and eyes, or taking abstract forms such as burning wheels. My angels also take their virtues to dangerous and deadly extremes, viewing mankind as unworthy sinners who must be punished”
