Daniel Jones - Symphony No. 8 - IV. Doloroso, 2025 by J.G.Wind. The painting is part 1 of a small cycle of paintings in which J.G.Wind sought to depict all five movements of the 8th Symphony by the Welsh composer Daniel Jones, as it has long deeply impressed him. As planned from the outset, J.G.Wind destroyed all five paintings "hardly had the varnish dried."

Does it feel cold?

The colours and lights of nature are absolutely stunning. And trying to capture their feeling is just fun. I know sunsets are an old cliche - but this is not going to stop me to just paint them over and over again, I just love them too much. Might be boring, but it's not for me :)
