If only academics in the art world could be sensitive to trans people and not be obsessed with the cishet ideas of gender that would be great.

I'm not nonbinary (though I am a trans guy) but these papers they make me read about stereotypes for both "male" and "female" and the pointless gendering of objects and styles make me so fucking uncomfortable.

Hello! This is my first post to Academia Tumblr, so I suppose I should introduce myself!

My name is Maxima, and I am a minor! I am an artist, a lover of all things macabre, and a general acadmia enthusiast!

My favorite feilds of study are forensics, classic literature (especially gothic literature), modern fiction writing, linguistics, forensic an mortiary studies, theology, and many other things!

My favorite book is Slaughterhouse Five by Kurt Vonnegut, favorite television show would be Sherlock, and movie would be Monty Python and the Curse of the Holy Grail!
