the wiki is wrong about Seedpelt

there are three ThunderClan Seedpelts listed in the wiki:

ancient deputy Seedpelt from when SkyClan was driven out of the forest (F, gray, blue eyes)

warrior Seedpelt from Mapleshade’s Vengeance (M, brown-white)

and elder Seedpelt from Pinestar’s Choice (F, gray)

The first Seedpelt can be discounted as she has been explicity said not to be related to the others despite elder Seedpelt and deputy Seedpelt both being gray she-cats.

HOWEVER

I can prove that MV Seedpelt and PC Seedpelt are the same cat. And it really just comes down to the allegiances.

notice how Brown Male Warrior Mapleshade’s Vengeance Seedpelt appears alongside Bloomheart and Thrushtalon? Interesting isn’t it.

now look at Pinestar’s Choice allegiances in the ThunderClan elder section where we’ll find Gray Female Elder Pinestar’s Choice Seedpelt.

OH LOOK WHO IT IS OUR OLD FRIENDS THRUSHTALON AND BLOOMHEART. Now interestingly, because the descriptions are the same, the wiki considers the two Thrushtalons and Bloomhearts to be the same character. But seeing a cat in the same generation as those two change genders and appearances (the erins have never done that /s) is assumed instead to be two different characters??

this is so circuitous let me sum it up:

Seedpelt appears in ThunderClan’s allegiances twice in two different novellas with a different description and gender, but always alongside the same two other cats. Seedpelt is assumed to be two different cats with the exact same name that swapped places within the same generation rather than the much more simple explanation that the Erins forgot the description.

this has been: a real hyperspecific rant by someone with a large doc of every allegiances and too much free time
