Grace lives a life on Erid, communicates with Eridians every day with so many pebbles and scientists.
Do you thing as time passed and more Eridians got used to Grace they start finding him interesting not only in science way, but also as a personality? And some of them, most open-minded of them most curious starts... thinking he is suitable for a mate?
They look at how this beautiful creature from the other planet talks with Rocky & Adrien, respectful and smart and easy. They see a chance, and start to asking Grace for a date.
Without Rocky, Grace take it as a usual walk, talk and friendly communication. He still doesn't read the room with elderly Eridians as easy as he does with Rocky. Pebbles always complementing him because they amused by him, so he takes the "date" as a friendly behavior. Eridians are excited. They got a permission to go in that way. Amazing creature beautiful and mindful.
Grace got slightly concerned when many Eridians start to give him presents without reasons, but obviously he keep them all without hesitation. Eridians are motivated.
But once Rocky or Adrien sees them they got furious, they start jumping and screaming in a high pitch melody. Grace confused. Wasn't he supposed to take those hostile gifts? Its a cultural giving-taking, no?
When Rocky explained everything to him Grace sat all his day at home in shame and embarrassment. Rocky literally barked at every other Eridian which comes to visit Grace. Him and Adrien made a whole campaign by scare every shamless suitor. They even suggested Grace to become their third in their marriage.
Getting tired of all this circus, Grace stood up and made a statement to social scientists that usually talked with him about culture on Earth that he is not looking for a mate, no offense, nor a human neither an Eridian. He returned every present by himself with patience and said that he is very grateful but they shall find another mate.
Years later some brave Eridians still try to amaze him, dancing and singing as they heard Earth species do to get a mate. Grace only laughs and refuses to be a mate but makes them sure that he is very pleased and grateful and they are beautiful but he still refuses. Rocky makes angry noises behind him while Adrien just stand without movement but with very furious aura. Grace yells at them as at his angry older brothers, but inside him he laughs hard.
He wishes he could tell about this to Carl and see his reaction. He also has a slight thought that Stratt would barking at Eridians even harder than Rocky. She might.
Grace looks at the beach and gosh he loves his live. At least his students will be pebbles for a long long time
