Since it's PRIDE MONTH:
Aroace people can still be in relationships that are both romantic and sexual.
Senkuu can be aroace and still be in a ship!!
For many of us, being aroace simply means we don't experience romantic or sexual attraction in particular. This does not mean all aroace people hate romance or sex, just that they don't get any of the extra "feelings" those who aren't aroace get. Some aroace people dislike romance and sex, and some are okay with it if it serves their relationship/can even enjoy it!
Being ace does not mean you don't have a libido or can't enjoy the physical aspects of sex, just that you don't feel a particular urge to have sex *with a person*. Ace people can enjoy sex, it just isn't a need like it is for those who aren't ace.
Similarly, being aro does not mean you don't "get" romance, or that you specifically hate it. Often we understand the process of and reason for romantic gestures perfectly well. We just are not particularly inclined towards it, feel particularly "special" when on the receiving end of it, or have the urge to engage in it without prompting!
All of this to say: Aroace Senkuu can want nothing to do with relationships, and Senkuu being aroace CAN ALSO work perfectly well in any ship, including those sexual or romantic in nature. In his case, I imagine it's more of a choice for him to participate in those gestures as an act of service (which he is known for), rather than because he particularly wants to. It doesn't hurt him or erase his aroace identity to do so! We often enjoy making our partners happy, and these gestures can be part of that (just like taking care of someone when they're sick). He can even be the one to initiate these things, if he knows his partner would enjoy them, and doing something that makes his partner happy can make him happy too! Being aroace doesn't mean any of these gestures are lesser or unenthusiastic either, the reasoning and feelings just come from different places!
The difference falls along: is he acting on a need to have sex or romance in his life, or does he personally not need them/feel the desire to put himself in those situations?
All aroace representations are valid, including ones where characters don't want relationships, but there are also plenty of us out there who do! So I thought I'd share a little bit of context for those who like the headcanon, since I often see the aroace experience simplified <3
(Also valid are headcanons where Senkuu is any other sexuality. This post is simply to give more perspective on aroace experiences, not to imply you can't headcanon him as something else!)
