15 Day Bl Challenge - Day 10: Most emotionally pleasing love scene
For me the best emotional love scenes are the ones that come from love. So I'll just put down a few of my favorite scenes.
A must on this list is Mhok and Day
They had just ran away to spend whatever precious time Day had left before going blind. He wanted to experience all the things while he still could, including his first time with Mhok, it doesn't get more emotional than this.
Babe and Charlie, those two were in love before they even knew it. I picked the scene from E9. It happens before a race and Babe wants to help Charlie calm down before the race. I loved how it started off gentle and turns into.. well this
Then there's my boys from My Secret Love
Park and Lee just agreed to marry each other after 7 years of being together, pretty sure there were tears.
For Mek and Kim it was their first time, after confessing their feelings for each other. I loved all the softness in this scene.
Last but not least, Achi and Ji from To be Continued
Considering they waited years to be together, they'd been in love since high school, all that waiting was worth it.

I have to mention my boys from We Are because I really loved the show and all the couples, starting with my beloved Tanfang
QToey, this scene was complete with the asking of consent, A+
PhumPeem, also on episode 15. A sensitive puppy and his sassy cat.
What a comforting and loving hug, the arms around each other and the robes and the puppets finally together again, them finally together again, ready to embark on a journey of love that was delayed but never truly canceled.
Achi was right, the story helped Ji go to sleep. And then it just got cuter.
This is just breaking my heart. Achi is so in love and has been for so, so long and what is going on with Ji!? Why is Ji so determined that their romance (which he knows is reciprocated) not happen?
And then the modern version of this is the post it note romance!? @absolutebl post it notes and food-based romance! Adorable.
And the true connecting thread...
Augh, the cute! Now clear up the confusion, damnit!
These two boys break my heart into a thousand pieces and Achi got himself rejected early on even though Ji wants this just as desperately as he does.
But Ji couldn't fully claim he didn't want it because he does. And he initiates where Achi was willing to stop when he said no and this is how you do complex consent and relationships.
And then they are horny teenage boys and it makes sense. I also appreciate they they switched positions several times during the activities. Gotta love them.
Achi confesses and Ji kisses him and then Ji covers his mouth and sends him away and they're both a mess the next day, an absolute mess, disasters in general, two gay disasters all over the place in love with each other and kept apart by something that Ji can't face.
Achi has my undying love and Ji is the most confusing character in the world. What is this boy doing at any given time and what does he feel ever?
He admits to loving Achi but also spends all his time trying to get to Pear and avoiding him even now when they're in an entirely new situation and there's no reason to be so scared about their romance.
What is he scared of? What's so horrifying about loving Achi that Ji simple cannot handle and why!? He kissed him! He loves him and Ji has made is so, so clear that he loves him in return.
I wish this pain made sense.
Achi and his fake girlfriend trying to keep from letting Ji fully reject him and break his heart so breaking his own in the process instead my entire heart.
Ji is leaving and wants to talk to him but Achi assumes it's him being rejected for being gay so instead he tries to protect himself by pushing distance between them because Ji already rejected him.
Ugh, my heart for them.
Yes, it's sad that Ji was alone but, frankly, they're both alone.
(I do appreciate that this isn't just one of their faults but both of them being teenagers and hurting each other equally. Ji pushed Achi away the night before and Achi pushing Ji away in the day, both out of fear.)
And of course Achi would leave after that without saying goodbye to Ji, he thought he's completely destroyed their friendship and would never see him again. Why would he ever think that Ji would come looking for him?
