How the West Was Won and Where It Got Us - stickman (Urgh. URGH. There is no way to express how beautiful this is, so I'm not going to try. Just read it. And listen to the music alongside it. Please)
Touch - Thorinsmut (the kind of love story I found myself immediately invested in, and as always with this writer, an excellent and unique take on Dwarrow culture)
Where the lost can be found - authoressjean (I've probably re-read this more than any other, and it was the first modern AU I read for the pairing, so it will always have a special place in my heart)
Where Lies the Heart - Salvia_G (I get so emotional over this: I just want to squish every character)
Smoke Sapphire - Thorinsmut (this remains the most interesting study on the idea of 'Ones' that I've read, and really changed my view on it; it also manages to be really achingly heartbreaking and hopeful at the same time)
Sansûkh - determamfidd (epic- there is no other way to describe it)
The Wax and The Figure - Vinci (this is such a great idea, and so well done)
8. What We Once Had - Chamelaucium (Mm, this was a recent read and has stayed with me even now it has finished. It a little bitter-sweet, with beautiful family and relationship dynamics that remind me a lot of people I know IRL. AND THANK THE LORD IT HAD A HAPPY ENDING)
9. Something Blue - Lapin (the first thing I read for the Bagginshield pairing, on advice of a friend. And I regret nothing)
10. A Favourable Arrangement - grav_ity (I love the Fili/Sigrid ship, and it is entirely thanks to this. It's one that I re-read a three am when I'm feeling a little blue)
