What I think is funny is, Owen introduces Sparrow as Just A Regular Guy

So, Just A Regular Guy, with a Penchant For Mischief and a Love For Discovery, crash lands in Color-fucking-rado, makes a tent, and immediately begins straight-up murdering people (pirates). He just starts whaling on them, dude. He videos it. He’d be fucking wrecked in court bro. No getting out of that one

TLDR: Colorado either makes you homicidal or Sparrow has been WAITING for this moment

I hope Sparrow becomes a spider.

Not for any strongly founded reason, I just think it’d be fun for him. And by him I mean me, watching him. The fun gimmicks and the realizations he could come to, the way Sparrow always narrows in on his goals, chasing them down until he can catch them, snaring them in his web. I feel like it’d be neat, realizing he has webs and—I would really love—venom.

Becoming something further from human than he expected. Becoming something that he has been unconsciously dehumanizing all this time. I wonder how it would impact his mental health.

I could write a fic about it. Sparrow mentioned to Scott that he was pretty good at climbing, too. Just imagine that lad in an absolute nest of web and you’ll understand me, chilling there, making a little cocoon for himself when sading, getting distressed when his web gets caught in his machinery

I see two options:

1. Sparrow’s machine Works, and he gets a new origin (feeling pretty shitty)

2. Sparrow’s machine Doesn’t Work, Sparrow dies, and then he comes back as a new origin anyways (also feeling pretty shitty, but with a bruised ego this time)

Either way, I’m gonna have a hell of a time rotating this fella around in my skull

Sparrow has always wanted powers. Fella studied bones and appeared mostly chill with crashing into an island. Whatever this machine brings him, he knows death is a possibility, and he knows pain is a certainty.

Honestly, though sad, I kind of feel a sense of pride in him.

“On to the next adventure.” He’s made peace w/ that too. He’s not under the impression that this won’t be a shitty experience. I’m glad, because if he was, if he thought this wouldn’t hurt, I don’t know if I’d recover

I genuinely think I’ve been experiencing the stages of grief over the Outsiders SMP. Like. I’ve been reading through the profile of someone who’s had a family member die recently and. Uh. Guys. I thought about it.

And I realized I fit the bill. I’ve been in legitimate mourning over the Outsiders SMP characters

Guys I think I’ve finally hit some semblance of acceptance
