What worked with the janus lee reveal was that they set clues all the way in the fifth episode and kept adding more clues so that the audience can catch in that there was more to that guy than simply assembling a team.

Two pics of an OC i drew for the criminally underrated Alpha Teens on Machines (or ATOM). Her name is Rosslyn Smith and she functions as the medic. Unlike her teammates Ross is very down-to-earth & likes to take things slow. She basically represents the kind of young adult that would be more comfortable at Starbucks or yoga than extreme sports. No she isn't an old lady I just suck at drawing highlights lol.

I sketched profiles of Qiu Jin and Nora and kinda have their story arcs in place so their bios might be up today or tomorrow. But for anyone who's curious they're two out of six (possibly seven) female characters added to the A.T.O.M. universe since there was a real lack of major female characters. Though to be fair it was a show/toyline for boys but still the only ones that mattered were like three and two of them were villains :P

Anyways Qiu Jin is the love interest of the first season main villain and the mother of my heroine Penny. Nora is the long deceased wife of the second season villain (no spoilers even for a 15 year old cartoon) and both women will have major roles in the ATOM fanverse I'm setting up.

Kendrix and Penny have a lot in common

- Both are preteen daughters of infamous supervillains

- Both have a complicated relationship with their siblings (yes Kenny counts as Kendrix's technical half brother)

- Both are actually incredibly strong for their age but lacks experience and emotional stability

- The root of their strengths are positive emotions

- Both have heat related powers (fire and lightning respectively)

- Both are troubled girls looking for their place in the world

- Both have to learn to be better heroes by interacting with older teens

- Both had superheroine moms that their fathers loved very much and their death/disappearance was a major motivation for their evil deeds

- Both have a major rivalry bordering on antagonism on a prominent female character but realize they are not so different

- Eventually reconciling their differences which serves as a final piece to their character arcs

- Both are designed to stand out without being love interests for the male characters
