she paused, looking away from him. her blue eyes were clouded, not as bright as usual. dead. that was the word. yet she couldn’t quite make herself say that word.

Sera barely had time to turn off the ATV she’d been on before she was practically stumbling off of it in her haste to find who she was looking for. Her staff was being all but impossible, and she didn’t have time to deal with yelling at them to get them under control. She had a crisis in the aviary that needed to be dealt with now. Pushing a stray lock of hair out of her face as she tried to catch her breath, her eyes finally found what she’d been looking for.
“Reid!”
Sera took off at a run, skidding to a stop in the gravel a few feet before the man. Her cheeks were red, and her eyes were wide as she looked up at him. She didn’t know who else to turn to.
“I need you with me.”
That was the closest thing to Sera saying that she needed help.
Small Creatures

Rather curious about what the mortals had managed to cook up this time she’d finally decided to pay a visit to this island they called Jurassic World. She’d seen dinosaurs after all and various species similar to them on other worlds.
Using her magic she appeared within the boundaries of one of the pens, her magic cloaking her from sight. Once amongst the trees she started to walk, enjoying the leisure manner of her visit.
Hearing a rustling in the underbrush, she turned, sensing another living creature. Sure enough, after a few moments a small reptile exited the cover of the ferns. Arching her brow she looked at the creature for a moment. It was clear that it knew something was there.
Grinning wickedly she let the shield covering her drop, taking delight in its reaction to the sudden ability to see what it could smell.

I’m so far behind on my askbox omfg
Alright, first off the mun. The mun is a total sweeheart that I adore. I love talking to her on Skype because she is absolutely perf and wonderful. idek where to start with her, she’s just so amazing. She’s so caring and fun to talk to, and I love some of the plots we’ve been talking about in Skype lately. Gods, she is SUCH an amazing writer, she is absolutely perfect. Her words flow so beautifully no matter what she’s writing or what muse she is playing. She is such an amazing friend and writer.
As for Geoff? Gods, Loki hates Geoff. And it’s great. Their interactions are absolutely hilarious because they’re literally always going at it for some reason or another. Geoff is a great muse both to rp with and to watch other people interact with. I love our current thread because I love Loki and Geoff interacting in general, and their arguments make it that much more amusing.
All in all, I adore Izzy. From her writing to just talking to her. She’s absolutely wonderful and amazing.
actionsnotvoidofmerit asked for a starter! a really long time ago i suck i’m sorry. Somehow, running the morning helped prepare her for a day that was usually at least somewhat... h e l l - i s h. Her job could never be easy - she could never sit in her office and do paperwork like she was supposed to, or spend time in the labs like she would like to. She always ended up getting dragged to meetings because this was going wrong and that person screwed up. This needed a sign off or that needed an opinion, or that meeting scheduled for three-thirty was rescheduled to ten minutes ago. But having time to ease into her day and give herself some her-time helped lighten the load a little. ...Well, that and the fact that her wine cabinet became her best friend once her shift was over. Once she finished her daily routine, she made her way back to her office, where she’d quickly plug in her phone before running to check on her son and change. ...But there was someone waiting in her office. Frowning and slightly out of breath, she eased her phone from her pocket and paused her music, eyes squinting slightly as she immediately missed her glasses. “...You’re early, right? I’m not scheduled on the clock for another hour.”

“You seem really nice, please don’t be the eleventh person to call me Claire or Ms. Dearing today. Please.” It had been a long, and Sigrid couldn’t care less about her dignity in that moment, so she just begged, and sighed deeply.
REID
“ Y'know, you look kinda familiar ... ”
Barry's mentioned his doppelgänger to him on a few occasions, but it's the first time they've ever really come face to face ( the resort is a big place, after all ) and it's more than a little unnerving to address your own mirror image. He masks what little discomfort he feels with an amiable enough grin, though, a silent invitation for the man whose face matches his to follow him through into the small cage before the paddock where his girls roam free.

While working at Jurassic World was a lot of fun for him, Vision couldn’t deny that maintenance could be a very demanding job sometimes. He was grateful that he had the job, and that most of his work involved working behind the scenes, away from the gazes of visitors who wondered why his skin was red. He had taken to wearing a hoodie even in the heat, preferring that to the stares.
Walking along the pathway away from the main street, he headed towards the restricted area. He didn’t have any jobs to do right this moment, but he had his radio ready so he could head out on one the moment he received one.
