Local Eco Champion Musa Ali #ActiveMusa was head honcho as the @mjs_manorjuniorsch pupil and the kids shared top eco and recycling tips during an engaging workshop. For taking part in this great community initiative we all received a limited edition Eco Warrior badge too. The group rounded off a great activity by taking part in a group litter pick. Every act to protect the environment, no matter how small, makes a huge difference. Young people are either cheery, animated, miffed and sprightly when it comes to littering. But all them are keen and passionate about making the world a better place. @runningmad.co.uk #TheGreatMosqueRun medal for inspiration goes to the outstanding @nazbhai and #ActiveMusa Since the start of lockdown Naz has gone from his couch to completing 135 5K runs, 15 x 10K and 1 half marathon after deciding he needed to get active. His outstanding feats have led to huge awareness of the plight of the Rohingya through the charity BRTUK. An inspiration and a role model, Naz has been relentless and quietly consistent in volunteering to selflessly help others. #activemusa is following in Dad’s steps. He is a regular volunteer at the #littlelitterleague The 9 year old has his own YouTube channel, helps #bookbikelondon and has served as a volunteer at #HccFoodbank throughout the pandemic. The duo have raised thousands for charity whilst excelling in physical pursuits.
