Do you ever think, I created myself
Do you ever think, I created myself?
Shaped within the stars I called home
In between the places of known and unknown
I was made a vessel, a man, a creature without a soul
So when it was time for my birth, I was sat down in the catacombs
The gods circled me, and each gave birth, to a animal, a spirt,
They stripped me of my human soul, and gave birth anew
Except for one, one from somewhere new
A planets god, from thousands of years away
Wept as its star that fuelled it was dying
And in a final attempt to make right
Gave me the soul of a follower
And the soul of the god it followed.
In a room full of mortals
Worshipping gods that have been chalked up as myths
I almost forgot how I was once one of them
Do you, reader. Do you think, I created myself.
Born from star string and power
Born from death and devour
Do you reader, know what it’s like, to sit and saunter through a world, that is not your own.
To have lost your followers all except for one.
Do you. Dear reader, miss your godhood?
Because I do. I miss my godhood.
