how come everybody online with bdd also has an eating disorder. like fuck iâm sorry thatâs really shit but is there literally nobody else i can relate to? i want to follow bdd blogs and feel less alone but they ALL trigger me because they post so many pictures of bodies. how tf do they not get triggered by this
literally how do i fix my chest? i cant get surgery because iâd have to get a consultation and iâd have to show my chest to a stranger and i cant go into surgery because my chest will be exposed to a stranger but if i donât get surgery iâll kill myself so??????????
My body feels like a fucking prison.
My therapist didn't seem to understand the severity of my feelings about wanting out of a body that isn't mine and feeling like I haven't been able to recognize myself in the mirror not just since gaining weight but for years. She thinks it's just a self esteem issue. It is partly but not completely. I didn't want out of my current body just because I wanted to wake up and be suddenly magically thin, I genuinely wanted to physically get out of a body that isn't mine and that feels like nothing but a shell I've been locked inside of.
Like I'm pretty sure she knows it's dysmorphia, but it felt a little dismissive. Like all it is is that I don't think I'm pretty.
I just canât recognize myself in this body anymore
Itâs wrong, ugly and disgusting
Let me ROT
Me, remembering over people actually have control over what they eat:
