In relation to my previous post, I decided to coin some terms surrounding how defined one is in the type of system are (architecture,origin,e.t.c.). Mainly because we like to have words for everything and want everything neat and in order!
Do not feel pressure to use these labels if you think they are unnecessary or you don't want to. It is for anyone who wishes to use them!
Coining new terms:
Types of systems
Boxless system - A system which uses no/a minimal amount of terms to define their system, and intends to keep it that way.
Box moderate system - A system which uses labels in moderation/average amount. They like it this way.
Box filled system - A system that uses a large amount of labels and/or classifies each area of systemhood. They like it that way.
Under investigation system - A system which is looking to define itself further. Does not matter how defined it is already.
Closed book system - A system which believes they have reached the peak amount of necessary definition, or can confidently say with 50% - 100% certainty that they know who they are. A label to use when they want people to know they are very sure about how they label themselves. They might have met a point of "rest" where they do not need to research terms anymore.
Open book system - Same as closed book system, where they believe they have reached the peak amount of definition. However they are more open to new defining of their system and are less sure about how they have defined themselves (1% - 49%).
Singular areas of systemhood
Unstamped (architecture,origin,e.t.c.)
Undefined
Being stamped (architecture,origin,e.t.c.)
Researching, find out more,e.t.c. about best definition.
Stamped (architecture,origin,e.t.c.)
Defined
Stamped with question mark (architecture,origin,e.t.c.)
Defined but unsure/open to change
I think that some people forget that the label of "mixed origin" doesn't actually tell you what specific origins a system has. Most seem to assume or act like "mixed origin" is just a shorter way of saying "traumagenic and endogenic," when this isn't always the case. Sure, some mixed origin systems are both traumagenic and endogenic, but there are also mixed origin systems who only use origin labels under the traumagenic umbrella and thus don't consider themselves endogenic, or who only use origin labels under the endogenic umbrella and thus don't consider themselves traumagenic. It's a bit like being nonbinary – people assume you're this one specific way, when the whole point of saying you're this thing is to say "hey, I don't fit neatly into one box or the other."
Anyway, just a friendly reminder that "mixed origin" is not a synonym for "trauma-endo," and you shouldn't assume things about other people just based on the labels they choose to share with you.
For my fellow mixed origin systems *hands you a cool rock*
A funny thing about being mixed origin is that sometimes my tags and posts seem to baffle mono-origin systems
"why have you tagged this with both traumagenic and endogenic tags" because I'm both, next question
"why are you posting about being traumagenic when you said in a previous post that you're endogenic" because I'm both, next question
"why do you –" because I'm part of a mixed origin system that has both traumagenic and endogenic members, next question
(this is a light-hearted post, btw! ^^)
Mixed origin systems are cool! Having multiple origins can be complicated, but complexity is not necessarily bad. There's nothing wrong with being mixed origin, and you shouldn't feel bad for being yourself.
Hey this is a genuine question for any system members that got heavily drunk before, but one of our host facets drank too much and I have her memory.
And the weird thing is that while she was unable to think properly and logically, another alter in the front was sober and able to think properly. They were just making comments like "oh dear this is bad," and being a bit judgemental. Another one was sober as well and was really worried, but the two of them didn't have much body control I think.
Even though our host facet didn't want to go back home she was forced to move back home with those who were supporting us in the outer world anyway and it seemed by those two alters as well? I think it's strange because I thought since we all share the same brain we would all act intoxicated.
Did any other systems experience this kind of difference? Or do all your alters get drunk? I don't know what the experience of being a singlet and drunk is like, so if you are singlet you can add to ^-^, but I thought rational thoughts go away, and that's why being drunk is a bad idea. Do you still have rational thoughts but being drunk makes you to choose to override it?
