PLEASE don't make a big deal out of accidentally misgendering someone. Just correct yourself and move on, calling attention to it makes it awkward.
Saw a post about how gender markers on IDs should be abolished and I have to disagree. Not only does it provide validation to many transitioning trans people but also it forces institutions to refer to us by our real gender since we have something we can point to to say that we are legally a man/woman.
I was surprised to find out that people actually think this
TERFs get off my blog challenge.... If you don’t recognize trans women as women... If you don’t recognize trans men as men.... If you don’t recognize trans lesbians as lesbians.... If you don’t recognize trans gays as gay.... Than thats your problem. So blinded by hatred and disgust that you refuse to see how harmful you are to the trans community all while preaching false accusations that we are invading your spaces, raping you, and so on so forth.... We are here, we are real, we are being ourselves in peace, and we’re gonna continue to do that till the day we die. You are making no difference, you and your transphobic rhetoric is gonna get you nowhere. Deal with it. TERFs quit being transphobic challenge.
Just because your transmed doesn’t mean you’re a bad person.
Just a reminder 💕

Trans women.
To all my lovely trans women and lesbians tonight. You all need to understand how important and loved you are from the bottom of my transbian heart. Trans women are women Trans lesbians are lesbians Trans straight women are straight MtF attracted lesbians are still lesbians, and so forth Anyone who disagrees, TERFs and the like. Are wrong. Y’all need to understand that. You are real women, you are real lesbians, you are straight, not ‘homosexual’ cause thats downright transphobic if they invalidate you being straight like that. You are loved, accepted, supported, beautiful, charming, compassionate, kind, intelligent, strong, and brave women. You deserve to find the partner of your dreams who treats you as the woman you are, loving you for who you are and appreciating the things you do for them.

10. It's okay if you don't have bottom surgery because the technology isn't advanced enough or the procedure is something you're not comfortable with :)

You're great and I wish you lots of luck for the future, and hopefully things turn out good :) Have a nice night and try to take good care of yourself, even if dysphoria makes it hard :)
