they start out just being polite to each other, they’re family and coworkers so they spend a lot of time together already but they Really start to bond when taako and lup fuck off for some Twin Time and kravitz and barry are stuck together and its Awkward because neither of them are truly outgoing but they eventually break the ice when taako calls kravitz on the stone of farspeech and accurately predicts that theyre being quiet dorks
they talk about their relationships and how weird the twins are and kravitz expresses how Much More He Got than he bargained for when dating taako and barry just laughs because… yeah, the twins are a package deal and i guess now i’m part of the package too, you’re stuck with us bud
they talk about their pasts, stuff that hardly gets mentioned to anyone at all anymore. barry talks about his life before the IPRE and kravitz tells him what his life was like when he was alive, and how he became a reaper and they get drunk off of some tacky but expensive wine that has like some super #goth name that they bought bc it felt on-brand and they Just Bro Out So Hard
the twins come home to two idiots playing card games and laughing their asses off at seemingly nothing. after a while they become insufferable best friends, and taako and lup just wonder, like, what have we done? we let this happen. they truly are worse than us now
