1500-1599 Recap Part 56:

Joan became a child as Wilmot became a teenager with a part time job at the Laurent household. 

Stephen became a child and Eden Akiyama was born followed by Adam and Karina’s twins Gerard and Marielle. Unfortunately Joan and Gerard both passed away in quick succession.

1500-1599 Recap Part 54:

Adam and Karina married.

Rose’s triplets aged up as did Ambrose’s twins. William definitely seemed to be the best blend of his parents genetics at this point and Margery seemed to be an Ann clone though it was early to tell, Spoiler she was. 

Isabel and Tatsuya married. 

Cecily became a child and was recognized as the future head of her household.

Adam’s first child Joan was born.

1500-1599 Recap Part 44:

Agnes’ children grew up with Adam taking after her and Isabel taking more after her father. Blanche was suffering from the toddler face glitch so it was unclear. 

Then Adrian’s loving began to have consequences in the form of fatherhood. Unfortunately, he had the really bad idea of autonomously woohooing with Samara, Samara’s mother Rachel, and Samara’s cousin Clemence, on top of Layla so that was fun. 

I wasn’t intending on him having this many babies. Honestly, I had chosen Samara as the “spouse” for his generation and Layla and was thinking of him having drama with those two but Adrian seemed to think it was fine to woohoo most of the men and women in the town open to his advances. So many babies to keep track of. I want them each to get some time to shine but that can be a bit difficult.

Year 1570 Part 1:

TW/CW: Infant Death, Child Death

The new decade began with sadness as only a few days after the announcement of Adam and Karina’s twins, Gerard and Marielle, came the news that illness had taken Gerard and their oldest Joan. 

Eden celebrated her first birthday to the delight of her parents. She was a sweet child who loved to laugh. Her parents did feel a bit bad that she wouldn’t be the baby of the family for long though since they were expecting once again.

Alice and Janet got along well as siblings though Alice worried that she would be unwelcome after she became an adult since she wasn’t actually a Carlisle. Janet assured her that that wasn’t the case but Alice still felt a bit out of place. 

Though right before Alice’s eighteenth birthday, Larissa came home to stay with her last remaining sibling. She was happy to finally get to meet her relatives that she had only ever heard of through Talia’s Tome and was more than willing to start back with her lessons to her family now that she was home. 

Alice turned eighteen with little fuss. She was glad to be an adult but with the milestone she felt a sense of longing for the family that hadn’t lived to see her grow.

Year 1566 Part 2:

In Glimmerbrook, Adam had found love with one of the Charm family’s daughters, Karina. It was good for both families to build ties in such a small community though it did bring the question following their wedding as to where they were going to find a spouse for the Isabel or for the rest of the family members for that matter considering most of the town were either Embers or Silversweaters. The news that Karina was expecting was welcome though.

The town needed to recruit more people which meant members of the community would need to leave to bring people in.

Year 1560 Part 3:

Soon Layla went into labor and delivered a son named Solomon. After holding the child she felt somehow more detached from him. Her older son was not a fan of being an older brother either, she felt guilty that she just didn’t feel the same affection for Solomon as with Micah. 

Agnes and Stephen’s twins had their thirteenth birthday delighting their parents who were glad to see their children grow into themselves. 

Samara found herself with child once more and though she was struggling with her two children already she was excited to welcome a third into her life.

Year 1553 Part 3:

TW/CW: Infant death

Adam and Isabel celebrated their sixth birthday with them looking more like their parents each day. Adam took more after Agnes which did make Agnes feel a bit better about the fact neither of her eldest had looked much like her as toddlers while Isabel looked like Stephen’s side of the family. Isabel might have gotten her hair and eye color from her maternal side but there was no doubt that she was in an Ember. 

Nathaniel celebrated his eighteenth birthday with his mother and Uncle. He wasn’t looking to immediately marry yet though. He was content to simply help his uncle around their garden farm.

Arthur and Beth’s household that was full of joy and love was filled with despair after Beth delivered a little girl named Christina who passed away shortly after her birth. While Beth’s son Walter, cared little about the child who was there and then gone, Beth’s daughter, Alice couldn’t understand why her new baby sister wasn’t their anymore.

Year 1553 Part 1:

The Ember household continued to be full of joy while waiting for the new arrival. Stephen’s sister Joyce was coming ever closer to becoming an adult which is what Stephen and Agnes were waiting for so they could prepare to leave to establish a land just for spellcasters where they wouldn’t have to practice their magic in secret but, Joyce surprised them by saying that she wanted to come with them to create their haven one day late into Agnes’s pregnancy. 

Agnes was delighted to know that her sister-in-law would be coming with them though she wondered if she wished to marry in town before they left or find a suitor along the way since she wanted her family to be happy. Though that was still a ways off so Agnes took to enjoying her time with her young children since travel wasn’t possible while pregnant anyways. 

It wasn’t long into the year when Agnes delivered another daughter named Blanche.
