1500-1599 Recap Part 60: 

Adam and Karina’s youngest, Audrey was born and I was beginning to think that maybe the Ember family name was going to end when their daughters married since Adam only rolled to have four children and Audrey made four. Then I remembered Stephen’s sister and her two sons and figured that it would persist for at least the next generation maybe. 

Ambrose and Ann showed their age and their twins became teenagers. 

Isabel’s only child, Stephen, became a child. 

Elizabeth had a son who died as an infant. Then Margaret had her son, John, and Blanche had her daughter, Agnes. 

Audrey became a toddler.

1500-1599 Recap Part 56:

Joan became a child as Wilmot became a teenager with a part time job at the Laurent household. 

Stephen became a child and Eden Akiyama was born followed by Adam and Karina’s twins Gerard and Marielle. Unfortunately Joan and Gerard both passed away in quick succession.

1500-1599 Recap Part 54:

Adam and Karina married.

Rose’s triplets aged up as did Ambrose’s twins. William definitely seemed to be the best blend of his parents genetics at this point and Margery seemed to be an Ann clone though it was early to tell, Spoiler she was. 

Isabel and Tatsuya married. 

Cecily became a child and was recognized as the future head of her household.

Adam’s first child Joan was born.

Year 1573 Part 2:

Elizabeth got over her prewedding jitters fairly quickly though and got married around the same time as Margaret had. She found that married life suited her and within weeks it came as little surprise to find out that she was expecting. 

Back in Glimmerbrook, Karina and Adam had kept quiet about Karina’s pregnancy but when their daughter Audrey was born it was time for a celebration. They had lost so much already, the joy of a new baby was good for them.

Year 1570 Part 1:

TW/CW: Infant Death, Child Death

The new decade began with sadness as only a few days after the announcement of Adam and Karina’s twins, Gerard and Marielle, came the news that illness had taken Gerard and their oldest Joan. 

Eden celebrated her first birthday to the delight of her parents. She was a sweet child who loved to laugh. Her parents did feel a bit bad that she wouldn’t be the baby of the family for long though since they were expecting once again.

Alice and Janet got along well as siblings though Alice worried that she would be unwelcome after she became an adult since she wasn’t actually a Carlisle. Janet assured her that that wasn’t the case but Alice still felt a bit out of place. 

Though right before Alice’s eighteenth birthday, Larissa came home to stay with her last remaining sibling. She was happy to finally get to meet her relatives that she had only ever heard of through Talia’s Tome and was more than willing to start back with her lessons to her family now that she was home. 

Alice turned eighteen with little fuss. She was glad to be an adult but with the milestone she felt a sense of longing for the family that hadn’t lived to see her grow.

Year 1567 Part 3:

TW/CW: Infant Death

The night before Adrian, Elizabeth and Wilmot were set to start heading towards Tartosa, news that Adam and Karina’s daughter, Joan, was delivered via Talia’s tome. 

The addition of a new member of the family was a cause for celebration and it put Adrian in high spirits to bring his daughters home. 

The long journey was not enjoyable to Wilmot who just felt tired after so much walking. Elizabeth was even more vocal about her hatred for travel this time and was dreading future visits. 

The girls got settled sharing a space with with each other while not on the road when Agnes shared through Talia’s tome that Isabel had delivered twins, Stephen and Denise but Denise only lived a few hours. 

Isabel had hated being pregnant and with the loss of her daughter she dreaded the idea of falling pregnant again more so than when she was still with child. She decided to get the potion from her Uncle that would prevent pregnancy going forward and focus on her son.

Year 1566 Part 2:

In Glimmerbrook, Adam had found love with one of the Charm family’s daughters, Karina. It was good for both families to build ties in such a small community though it did bring the question following their wedding as to where they were going to find a spouse for the Isabel or for the rest of the family members for that matter considering most of the town were either Embers or Silversweaters. The news that Karina was expecting was welcome though.

The town needed to recruit more people which meant members of the community would need to leave to bring people in.
