Boov - The True Meaning of Smekday - January 12, 2019

 Here is a boov researching a common Earth flower. I gave this boov the little disk phones that their Dreamworks counterparts carry. I am drawing a few of these aliens in the original Adam Rex 'True Meaning of Smekday' style from the books. Even though Dreamworks created some adorable boov, I still find the Smekday style boov to be cute. Side note: I watched Solo: A Star Wars Story last week and it really hit me how the Smekday style boov would really fit visually into the Star Wars universe. Awesome!

Boov Fanart - Cutest Witch - October 2020

So, I think I am ready to reveal what I have been up to for the last few months from an artistic perspective. I have been drawing the aliens from the True Meaning of Smekday in various poses and garments. I have 4 finished right now, but have a whole bunch of sketches on my phone and in a notebook.

When you love something, immerse yourself in it! For me, that means drawing it! :3 Yup, I'm a little obsessed with the Boov right now.
