That is the exact time we have been hiding in this Safe room. The food is already gone, since we hadn’t much to begin with as the room was not planned to be occupied for such a long time. In the end of the day, it was just a room with armoured wall. Sure, it might have been filled with food, water, some first-aid kits, bullets and spare guns, but it was supposed to hold us just so the rescue can arrive. But there was no rescue waiting for us. We were doomed to stay.
I assume we weren’t the first to stay here as a lot of it was already lacking, but after those almost seven days it was clear we will have to move on. The water was almost gone and we know how dehydration works. Kills you quicker than a Witch. Speaking of which - there was one of those currently sitting just a few steps from the doors. Reason why weren’t to keen to get out.
“I can’t target her from here,” I sighed, finally lowering my gun. It had unspoken message in it - we will have to fight her off at open space, surrounded by zombies and other specials. Essentially, we’re fucked.
