> I believe it's fitting for Addisons to have shapeshifting qualities depending on how powerful they are,, nothing too extreme- things simple like changing of body type, voice modifications, stuff like that to help get better business..like advertisements that are only slightly different from one another to try and attract more people

One random fact about each and every one of my Addisons because I CAN:

-Target (Main Pink, jewellery maker, Cyber Shoes manager, tea shop owner)'s fav Light World flowers are bleeding hearts and foxgloves.

-Sample (Main Blue, Cyber Shoes II customer service) has insomnia. Only in his worst mental states can he actually sleep, but only very lightly.

-Banner (Main Orange, fashion designer and caterer) has a borderline unhealthy obsession with making Victorian-era clothes specifically for themself to put on display in their own closet. They can count on one hand the amount of outfits they've actually worn of that time period.

-Broadcast (Main Yellow, news / shopping channel host. Their only host.) is aromantic. YIPPEE.

-Spam (Addispam, email-man and ever-changing intern) learned how to make cars in his spare time by himself before he made it big. He never had actually used them, though - just kept them in an unused alleyway and mix-n-matched them in his spare time between delivering emails and internships.

-Click (Banner's boyfriend, baker and party caterer, Pink) lives in an attic above his bakery. It's small, but it feels like home to them. It has a stained glass window overlooking a highway on the other side of Main Street.

-Vice (Sample's co-worker / girlfriend, Service's Trojan, cashier at Cyber Shoes II, Orange) breaks into Sample's apartment at night to raid his fridge / watch TV for a while. She doesn't know that Sample is awake every time she does this and just lets her get away with it (they live in the same complex). She loves the nights that he makes stuff with leftovers for dinner.

-Snap (Broadcast's co-worker and best friend, camera-man, Green)'s favourite drink is a Shirley Temple. They've never been a fan of alcohol.

-Gamble (Mobile and Clickbait's father, casino owner, Blue), despite being an online advertisement, doesn't know much about how to actually use the Internet beyond posting his casino ads. Mobile tries to help him learn by giving him social media accounts, but he's basically like a grandpa using Facebook.

-Mobile (Clickbait’s elder sister, mobile advertiser [mainly in gambling / lottery / casino apps] and casino bartender, Yellow) prefers to go by Cooper / Couper, or Coop / Coup, her middle name - a reference to Martin Cooper, inventor of the mobile phone.

-Clickbait (Mobile's younger brother and Click's Trojan, clickbait advertiser [mainly making Couper's ads more flashy and clickable], casino bartender, Cyber Shoes II supervisor, gossip columnist, Pink)'s only 'true' friend is a young Werewerewire named Amp that he met in the Dark Web.

-Service (Manager / owner of Cyber Shoes II, Orange) has tapped Vice, Clickbait, and Sample's phones to monitor their activity on their phones, much to their displeasure.

-Hanahaki (placeholder name, Purple)'s favourite flowers are lavender and wisteria vines.

-Patient 0 (placeholder name, Pink) is one of the oldest Addisons to exist and hates being one. Not like Spamton and Sample do with just 'being a Darkner in general,' but actively hates the Addison species, and has days where he wants to destroy his casing to be unrecognizable as one... unfortunately he has enough damage to his endoskeleton as is without uncovering his entire inner skeleton.

Image 1: Vid They/Ey 6’5 (Flags: Nonbinary Aromantic Queer)

Jewelry seller who is extremely vain and maybe a bit too greedy for their own good. Ey are very competitive with friends and coworkers alike.

Relationships

Very close. The only person ey feel they could even be mildly vulnerable around. A little protective over how close ey are with him.

Also very close with her. They always find time to shit talk poor customers or clients with him and go out for fancy drinks, brunches and so on.

They like it but don’t share much in common.

Dislike and always have. He’s a bit annoying and useless, as well as taking up to much of Servs time and energy. What a waste.

Tailor, works mainly with feminie clients. Including working with Queen herself on a rare occasion.

Relationships

Not as close with Serv but Vid speaks very highly of them so she likes them.

Bestie! He loves Vid a lot, doesn’t really like how ey do business but don’t hold that against them.

Her partner! They’ve been married for a long time now but are in an open / poly relationship, she’s very sweet with it and loves to dress it up with he gets the chance.

Was close with Spam, to a point that once he got big and left them she was very, very hurt by it. So now he smears his name and talks as much shit about him as he can. Probably will take the longest to forgive him, if she ever can.

Was a pretty big deal at the start of the web back in the 70s, but has since retired and mainly works as a speaker for big company CEOs and management to help with sales.

Relationships

Close, would probably consider Serv to be one its best friends, or at least the person it trust the most professionally

VId is a bit much of a loose cannon for its liking. They deal with the dark web and though it won’t report them, it's aware and doesn’t like that.

It’s partner! It loves her very much and would do just about anything for him. Constantly talking about how lucky it is and does fit the ‘i love my wife guy’ trope.

Did enjoy his company, is a shame he had to hurt someone so close to it and broke its trust in him…

Serv used to be one of the bigger ads in the city, but they prefer to be more in the background and help their friends more than being a big wig.

Works as a manager at a makeup company.

Relationships

Them and Vid have been best friends since they first started selling. They’re very close and though they’re very different people, they still trust each other the most out of anyone.

Not as close with him, they tend to keep conversation civil but lose with her.

Get along very well, take smoke breaks together and work in similar positions and can complain to each other about a lot of similar experiences no one else in their group gets as much.

Was the person who brought Spamton into the friend group, and took him slightly under their wing to try and help him get his feet off the ground.

Made some deals, made some calls and is an all around [BIG SHOT]... Don’t worry about the details of it…

Sells almost anything and has his hands in everything in the city, but mainly really likes automotives / mechanics.

Relationships

Once he has is falling out with the group he figured Serv would go with them, leave him like the rest of them… So why do they keep calling him? And trying to check up on it? No matter… probably just trying to make him feel guilty for what happened… best to ignore them…

Hopes he can kill Vids business, serves them right for trying to spread lies and take him down after all the work he put into his life.

He cant believe Pop sided with Vid, shes just as bad as em. Not even worth his time…

Same goes for Tab, why did they ever even look up to it in the first place?

Pop is so nice to them… He gets shy around her because of how sweet he is to them…

Unrecognizable in his new and ‘improved’ body after his fall from fame.

EXTRA INFO:

Most ads are somewhere between 6 foot and 6’7. Taller or shorter than that is considered odd or off putting for sales, and these ads tend to not sell as well as the ads within that height range.

Ads have a doll-like shell, making them very similar to mannequins. They have softer silicone skin that they have to be careful with as it is easily damaged.

Acid, as with most beings in the cyber world, though not deadly, isn't very pleasant for them. Especially with their sensitive ‘skin’. A soak in it can drain their skin of its color at best, and at worse, melt them to an ‘undesirable’ extent. Leaving the former body mainly useless and having them require another.

Moving bodies is rare for ads, but possible. By transferring their data and souls into a new vessel they can extend their life span if they are hurt beyond livable reason, they just have to find the vessel quickly. And due to their prideful and stuck up nature, they tend to be picky over choosing survival, leading to full body transfers being fairly rare.

Addisons are very social, they tend to have roommates in their apartments, and often have sleepovers. Just feels good to have company. These 5 are especially close, so they don’t mind sharing a bed. Whim (yellow) is a restless sleeper and dislikes cuddling, so he’s sleeping on the edge by choice, mind you. XD
