you could also use arovague/acevague or neuro-

-vague: An orientation that is influenced, in whole or in part, by the person’s neurodivergence. Most commonly used as acevague/arovague.

Neuro- An umbrella term for when your neurodivergent condition affects your orientation, but it can be used as a standalone identity. Similar concept to neurogender.

Meanings: 

The background of the flag, dark grey, means a state of mind.

The circle, pastel yellow, means a different state of mind that may contrast with another one, but may also be simply different.

The bump, pastel orange-pink on the base flag, and different for each type of attraction, means differing attraction and repulsion levels.

I’m a survivor of child abuse and would like to propose these flags for adfectu- / adfijicio- / adfejicio-. (I can come off anon and confirm I’m not a troll if necessary)

Personally, near people with familiar features of an abuser, I think and behave differently. I also have conflicting feelings of attraction and repulsion.

I made these flags hoping to reclaim a sense of control.

Is there a term for a person who feels like, a limited amount of (romantic) attraction to all genders, no matter what? possibly with a preference that’s due to trauma?

attraction to all genders: omni- or pan- (see here and here for how they’re different)

Greyromantic: Describes someone who experiences romantic attraction only rarely, weakly, unstably / unreliably, and / or gains / loses the attraction under certain (maybe unknown) circumstances.

Requiesromantic: Experiencing limited romantic attraction due to being drained of energy. When you do experience attraction, it is to all genders.

Adfecturomantic / affecturomantic / adfectualromantic / adfromantic: Describes someone whose romantic attraction is affected by one’s neurodivergency, especially fluctuating moods, personality disorders, and effects from PTSD / being a trauma survivor.

Caedromanticflux: Describes someone whose romantic orientation incorporates the specific feeling that one once was alloromantic, but that has been “cut away” or taken from them due to past trauma (For trauma survivors / PTSD sufferers only). [-flux indicates the lack of attraction fluctuates]

hey, so i was wondering if you could help me coin a term. I identified as aroflux, but then i realized I'm only aro when I have episodes of depersonalization/derealization. I was thinking like, a general term for ppl whose neurodivergency causes their orientation to change along with their disorder(I hope that wording makes sense) like, ___fluid or ____flux. i just dont know what prefix to use

There aren’t any orientations specifically like you’re describing - I think coining one is a good idea! Here’s what I found:

Neuro-: An umbrella term for when your neurodivergent condition affects your orientation, but it can be used as a standalone identity.

Disordine-: When your neurodivergent status (neurological conditions, mental health conditions, etc.) affect your perception of sexual orientation and/or make it difficult for you to understand your orientation. Alternative to neuro-.

Adfectu- / Affectu- / Adfectual- / Adf-: Someone whose attraction is affected by their neurodivergency.

You can add -fluid, -flux or -flexible or w/e onto any of these.
