I’m putting this in a separate post, instead of a reblog, because that post was getting very long, and this is going to end up very long. I can’t really say how well they’d get along, because getting along is a two way thing and I don’t know quite enough about Attie and Con to predict them, but I can say how the Merry Band would react.

Zerri would try and recruit both of them, but that’s mostly because she tries to recruit everyone. She’d probably get along okay with Attie, but their never going to be best buds or anything, because they aren’t particularly similar. Constantine is going to cause her so many mixed feelings about Iyanden. She already has mixed very positive and negative feelings about it, learning about it mostly from Eldritch Raiders will do that, but she’s going to be so upset when she finds about what happened to Constantine. She’d probably try to drag him over to Iyanden with her to go ‘hello naughty craftworlders it’s murder yelling time’. Especially because it‘d seem very unfair to her that Iyanden jettisoned literal children while offering her, a literal Drukhari, citizenship. (Though the Iyanden thing may give her pause on her recruiting attempts. Iyanden is the one craftworld that likes the Merry Band, and so they visit a lot.) There may also be some “Hey, Jas, this person has psyker problems. Can you fix those? :D” Zerri also has abandonment issues as well.

Jas and Constantine will either really get along, or really not get along. They both have mother hen tendencies! Both have been cast adrift from their craftworld, and don’t know things they really should! Both have had incredibly traumatic shit happen to them! But the thing is, Jas would try to help? Especially with the untrained psyker thing, Jas isn’t very good at teaching psychic stuff, but what he can teach is better than nothing at all, and he’d feel obligated to. And he’d probably feel that he and Constantine were kindred spirits, because of the above exclamation-pointed facts. But whether they’d get a long depends on whether Con thinks Jas is a craftworld interloper telling him what to do. (If they got along, they may end up mutually mother henning each other, which would be hilarious.)

Kaemoque is on team ‘Oh gods we don’t know what we’re doing psychically’ with Con, and team ‘Good at getting people to like us’ with Attie. He’d probably try to get on friendly terms with them (though wouldn’t necessarily try to be friends with them). How they got along would really depend on Attie and Con.

Khelresse would probably like/respect Attie. They’ve both been made from the ground up for a particular purpose, it’s just Attie had that happen via cybernetic implants. Khelresse would probably want to spar with her. Khelresse would look down on and ignore Con. To her, he’s weak and uncontrolled, and doesn’t even have the potential of Jas.

Adijah is mostly ‘Oh my Emperor, finally, someone I can talk to without a translation engine!’ She would find Attie creepy though. She’s always found techpriests creepy, and one who can actually speak eldar would leave her backing away and making the sign of the Aquila.

Merathera doesn’t really care, she’s here for the snacks. (Or rather, she doesn’t care about things outside her very small sphere of influence/knowing people.) To her, Attie is a robotic mon’keigh, Con is basically angry!Jas, and why exactly should she care?
