admin note: this plot drop was posted in server today as the admin wouldn't be around to post it late at night/into early hours of tomorrow. less of an event, but more of an important plot update and movement that is especially important to most of the vampires & other such interested parties. on the final night of their tour, lead singer of the vampire lestat continued to drive the knife in by declaring himself a vampire, further infuriating the vampires out there of his kind that had been stewing for some time now. they finally broke, diving onto stage to attack him. but before they could land too deadly a blow, akasha, the queen of the damned, mother of all vampires stepped into view. attacking vampires were set alight by her, reduced to ash and before she stole lestat away, she left a promise: death to all those that would stand against her.
it's the last friday 13th of the year, and surrounded by thousands of adoring fans, the vampire lestat take to the stage in death valley. an ideal location for the final night of their short and sweet, highly anticipated tour-- one that has propelled them to even further heights of fame. but a night of music wasn't the only thing in store it would seem. while band members fill the stage, lestat is the last to join and what better way, than quite literally flying onto the stage and declaring to all that he was a vampire, and he would have their blood that night.
reports after will likely talk of stage theatrics and look for many ways to explain it away, but how will they explain what followed?
barely five songs in, the crowds heating up, and horror that couldn't be been predicted explodes into view. to those in the know, it's easy to understand what happened…
vampires rushing the stage, an attempt on lestat's life. blood and gore and then-- fire. a queen returned. and the lead singer? gone.
