I’m so curious to see how they adapt that whole ‘I love moo’ thing in some of the other languages this show gets dubbed into. For instance, ‘I love you’ in German is ‘Ich liebe dich’ and no part of that rhymes with ‘moo’. Even in the original French...how do you adapt ‘Je t’aime’ to that?

Is it really nerdy of me to want a compilation of just that one scene in every language, to compare how it’s managed??

Hamsters aside, I love the contrast between their fantasies. She's like, wedding - babies - puppies and kittens! He's like, desert island - tropical fruit - helicopter!

Look at that island. Where is the helicopter going to land, Adrien?

When Ladybug says everything is just so natural between them (her and Adrien) that they don't even need to talk about it all...she means Cat really. They both find it so easy to talk to each other. She definitely knows it when he takes off at the end of this scene.

Adrien’s song - first of all, I love this so much because in my own fics, like this one - I have had Adrien write his own music, as a way of finding his own melody and owning his piano skill beyond his father’s control. I was sooooo happy to see this play out in the show.

But also - those lyrics. Some key lines really jumped out at me, like:

‘I don’t need us to watch the sunset’ - this is what he does with Ladybug all the time

‘Because through your silence’ - notice the way it then focused on Luka on the guitar, with his eyes shining in the darkness, a reminder of when he was the Silencer?

‘A rhythm fluttering like butterflies’ - do I even need to comment on this?

That whole thing was so clever...even if it was also cringe. I probably would have died on the spot, if I'd been Marinette, but god love you and your total inability to understand boundaries, Adrien.

My next card - the 10 of Yo-Yos! The traditional 10 of Pentacles image shows multiple generations of people, plus a dog, at a house covered in foliage to show blossoming, blessings and success in all things worldly, e.g. family, home, career, money, foundations, etc. This is because Pentacles are the most practical suit, while 10s are the very highest extreme in that suit.

I instantly thought 'three kids and a hamster' back when I started planning this deck. I put this one off because I knew it would take a while. 14 hours! I'm so pleased with the result :)
