Oh my god…please imagine:

Rocky getting back to Erid and telling Adrian all about Grace.

How incredible and brave and strange he is. How he’s leaky and kind of dumb, but so caring. How he saved Rocky’s life despite knowing it might doom him.

How, despite being so different it’s dangerous for them to touch, Grace wanted what humans call ‘a hug’.

So, after the biodomes and suits are safely made, and Grace is no longer in danger of starving, Adrian wants to have a word with Grace:

Grace is intimidated by the large Eridian looming over him. But Adrian simply leans into him, gently putting an arm around him, and pulls him in for a short hug. He knows his temperature is still too high for a human to bear for long.

But Grace willingly stays in the embrace till his cheek is burning.

Grace doesn’t need the computer to translate Adrian’s whistles.

Because of the common headcanon that Adrien is so much bigger than Rocky, I imagine human Adrien as this big muscly person. And I keep repeating this conversation between Rocky and Ryland in my head.

Rocky: They're so beautiful

Ryland: They could probably crush your head with their thighs

Rocky: You say that like that doesnt add to it

No ship names for these ships in PHM?

So, here’s the deal, I’m a chronic multishipper, and I can’t help but notice that there doesn’t seem to be a ship name for either the ship of Adrian x Rocky OR the ship between Grace, Rocky and Adrian.

I’m tired of typing Grace x Rocky x Adrian any time I want to see my current favourite polycule, and Adrian and Rocky deserve better than for their ship name to be Adrian x Rocky. I also thought, “hey, you know what, fuck it dude” and decided to come up with some names myself.

Likelyhood of ppl actually using them? Eh, idk. If it catches on that’ll be fun but I don’t expect it to.

I kinda wanna hear other people’s ideas on this, or if there ARE existing ship names, but here are some of my own ideas, I think most of them are pretty meh but oh well.

Firstly, the name combinations:

Grace x Rocky x Adrian:

Secondly, the more esoteric version of ship names, including stuff I’m saying to be funny:

MediumRoughTextureShip, (in honour of the fact that Rocky was originally going to name the planet Adrian this)

Whalesong, because they’re the only two eridians we really know about and because of the way eridians communicate

Rock up, cause Rocky rocked up more than 47 years too late and with an alien buddy who would instantly die in your atmosphere

Adrian x Grace x Rocky

Taulight, this is the idea that made me make this post, between Rocky and Grace orbiting around Tau Ceti and Adrian having a planet named after them they’ve all been touched by the taulight in some way or another, idk I just found it poetic (Plus Taulight isn’t a word that really appears a lot of places outside of PHM so it wouldn’t get confused for anything else.)

Yeah I had nothing else for Rocky x Adrian x Grace, you come up with something.
