SONG PICK: Adryelle - The Morning
Our Song Pick of the Day comes from Adryelle a Baltimore-based artist who is currently traveling the country to inspire kids in schools with concerts and speeches . Fortunately she has found time to release a new song “The Morning”, a mostly acoustic piece as opposed to her previous electronic work. With her recently released fifth album, The Waiting Room, she is making moves with her own version of "dreampop" and a message that life is a beautiful thing. Infectious Magazine recently had the opportunity to chat with up and coming Baltimore artist, Adryelle. Channeling the sounds of Tori Amos, Depeche Mode and Young Marble Giants, Adryelle recently unveiled her fifth release,The Waiting Room. Speaking about the album she says, “The Waiting Room is about life and death. The album is up to interpretation, but ultimately it is about hope, in the sense that we can be OK where we are currently, and that everyone has a purpose in life. If you are alive, then you have a reason to live.”
