Advisor!Reader (Human!Reader who fell into the Boiling Isles long before Luz and was brainwashed by Belos to believe to be a witch until he could bring you to the human realm. Romantic alignment: Adrian Graye, though forced to be with Belos through the years):
You were present at the Titan's skull when everything happened. Belos had plans to bring you to the human realm, though you were heavily drugged. You couldn't help the kids even if you wanted to. However, you were left in the skull when they were thrown into the portal. When you came to, you were where Belos left you, covered in a cloak of his. Your memories were slowly returning.
Woozy and shaking, you got up and made your way out to see the damage, walking through a green-splattered mess, almost believing you were still asleep. You could see the platform where the Day of Unity was set to happen. Seeing people laying down and not moving, especially on the platform where the Coven Heads were made you gasp and glance around. Not far from you, you found Belos' staff which you quickly snatch up, giving you a head rush, then using it to teleport to the platform where you found everyone still out, aside from Eda and Raine who you ignore.
Scanning the platform, you saw a familiar figure in blue laying there, looking a bit rough but still out cold.
"Adrian...!" you called out and made your way over to him the best you could, falling to your hands and knees in the process to crawl over him. You rolled him to his back and gently shook him. No dice, however, you could see him breathing. "Oh, Adrian... Please be okay..."
Someone grabbed you from behind suddenly and started to pull you away from him.
"Y/N! We have to go! Now!" Raine cried out, trying to ignore the fact Eda was just captured by the Collector.
"No-! No, wait! Raine! I remember! I remember him! Don't-!"
"I understand but you're no good to him if you're captured!" Raine glanced around as they watched the blue stars descend on the people around you. "Hurry!"
With a heavy heart, you allowed yourself to be pulled away just in time for a large blue star to appear at the edge of the platform and begin shooting everyone it saw with yellow lasers, putting a blue crescent moon on their foreheads. A familiar voice made you freeze and turn to see Adrian's form weakly move to sit up while rubbing his head.
"Was that... Y/N? I thought I heard...?"
Before you could call out to him, a star had appeared before him and in a flash of yellow, Adrian fell to the floor again, stiff as a bored.
Your scream caught the attention of the star as Raine rushed you down the staircase and it gave chase. When at the bottom landing, Raine glanced back before shoving you into the hiding place they shared with Lilith and Hooty before everything went south.
You fell on your hands and knees and quickly moved into the hiding place, trying to hold back tears as the scene of Adrian being hit by the star played over and over in your head. The sound of something wooden hitting the floor behind you caused you to glance back. Your hand covered your mouth to try to stifle any noise that came out upon meeting Raine's lifeless gaze before they were poofed away.
You kept Belos' staff across you, the end pointing at the larger opening of the hiding place in case one of the stars caught sight of you. The screams of the people below disturbed you. You let out a soft sob.
"What the hell is happening?!"
"That is what is happening. Hell."
You froze hard. Glancing over, a familiar form in white, gold, and black sat in one of the alcoves with his hands neatly folded on his lap while looking down at the chaos below.
"The child is loose and will remain that way. If you stay still and don't try to be a hero, you should be okay. Once the stars are gone, I suggest going to talk to the boy."
You stared at him and he finally glanced your way with a calm, warm smile.
"H-How are you...? What are you...?"
He let out a soft chuckle.
"Don't drop your guard because of me. You are still very much in danger. You may want to pull back further. One of those monsters is about to pass by."
You immediately glanced at the opening and did as you were told, pulling yourself out of sight. Glancing back at the alcove, you tensed up, finding Belos' form gone.
You stared at the alcove for much longer than you realized, trying to figure out what you had just seen. By the time you snapped out of it, the screams had died down and the stars had moved on. Chalking what you saw up to a stressed mind, you shakily stood and headed back up to the platform which was now empty. Above you, however, you could hear the giggling of the boy with the small animal he was playing with. He was the cause of all of this, wasn't he?
