Irene Imagines - you fall asleep waiting for her ᶻ 𝗓 𐰁
As the front door creaked open, Irene's voice echoed through the quiet house,
"Y/n, I'm home!" But there was no response.
She walked into the living room, expecting to see you waiting up for her, but instead, she found the TV glowing, playing faint noises. Her gaze drifted to the couch, where she spotted a familiar figure curled up into a ball, fast asleep.
A warm smile spread across Irene's face as she took in the sight of you, wrapped in her favorite hoodie, the one she had lent you on a chilly evening a few weeks ago. She felt a flutter in her chest seeing you. The hood had slipped off, revealing your messy hair.
Irene tiptoed closer, not wanting to disturb your peaceful sleep. She gently sat down beside you, her eyes taking in the sight of your calm face. She reached out a hand, hesitating for a moment before gently brushing a stray strand of hair behind your ear. As Irene's fingers brushed against your ear, you instinctively leaned into her touch, seeking more. Your eyes fluttered open, and you're met with Irene's warm smile.
"I'm home, Y/n," she whispered, her voice barely audible.
You stretch your arms out, wrapping them around her waist, and pull her into a gentle hug, burrowing your head into the crook of her neck.
"Sorry," you whisper, your voice husky from sleep. "I fell asleep waiting for you."
