She sure is my least used party member but DAMN is she fun to draw.

A rather random picture. I first I wanted to draw Flurrie alone. Then I wanted to draw some Punies with her. Then I thought "F it" and added the whole damn forest.

So anyway, I think it was mentioned in the game that Madame Flurrie has a friendly relationship to the Punies. I wanted to draw something with that in mind.

I actually have to ask (now that I randomly remembered the existence of this 'holiday') but would that actually mean that the "International Crow and Raven Appreciation Day" counts for Lexi too because I might've only known her for 24h but I'm pretty sure that she'd deserve it?

Just a couple of pictures I’ve been working on recently (because I am cringing at the idea of doing an epic Earthia picture again, so I’m finding other ways to occupy myself, lol).

So the first one was just something I had decided to do after thinking about the whole Life Festival thing that happens in the second book.  Mostly, I wanted to design something a little more ‘formal’ for Dylan, then added Aerona as well because, well, she needs something as well.  In hindsight, I should have attempted to draw her in this dress, but I didn’t think about it until a few days ago, and...yeah.  It works, because this would be something she might wear while doing just a normal formal event, whereas the other dress would be an actual formal event.  And Dylan, being a guy, can get away with wearing the same thing for all events.

Dylan, obviously, does not like dressing up, lol.  He doesn’t mind it so much once Kai comes into the picture, but he hates formal events.  Aerona, by contrast, understands her place in the world, and enjoys them to some extent.  Once again, though, this pictures suffers from ‘randomass picture turns out wonderfully’.  ;p  Didn’t shade it because, well, it’s jut a design picture I decided to be fancy with.

The actual design sheet is of Delaney, Lydie Donaghue,and Ta’lea’s casual outfit.  It started off as Delaney, and then I just kept adding things to it.  ;P  I actually did Delaney’s design to do a princesses of Aethos picture that just...never came to fruition.  But it was fun to design something for her!  I sort of like how its   simple, yet elegant.  :D

The new character, Lydie, was supposed to be a Issadora replacement...sorta.  Obviously, she couldn’t be Issadora, since I stole that name for someone else.  >.>  My original intention was that she was Dylan’s bodyguard in Nereus, except when I had her designed and gave her color, I just couldn’t picture her as being a bitch like Issy was. And while I originally had her in a Federation uniform, I though the Nereids would choose someone in-house instead.

BUT then I had the idea of making her the princess of the deep sea Nereids instead, and it makes so much more sense.  The only reason why I created her was so Kai could bee inadequate after visiting Nereus, and hey, she fits the bill.  She’s there visiting for the same reason Dylan’s visiting Helios.  Of course, in this version, she’s not in love with Dylan, but Kai still sees her as competition.

She’s also there so show the difference between aquatic Nereids and the terrestrial Nereids, which you can see on the design - they have their gills on their neck rather than their backs.   I actually really like how her design turned out! 

Ta’lea...I honestly just wanted to design something causal for her, because I doubt she’d wear the uniform all the time, but now I’m conflicted because I really like her outfit.  I mean, that might not be a good reason why I should change it, but there’s also the fact that it’d been bothering me that the Helians use military personal for their bodyguards?  It’d make more sense to have an outside source source, right?

And there’s the fact that she’s not Aethian, so it would make sense for her to be a part of the Federation in that case, but what if Aethos has a third species, but that would be too much, right?  But Helios in particular is a galatic hub, so why wouldn’t they hire a non-Helian?  But the Helians are aslo the ones who founded the Federation, so maybe they use their military personal in that manner?

All this over a stupid design, sigh.

For now, I am keeping her a Federation officer, because I can rational it, and it makes sense.  But I really, really like her causal design, I will say that, lol.

My guidelines are to use PayPal, and to not request art that reflects hatred towards anyone according to race, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, etc.
