I did this a while ago with a collection of posts based on this ship meme for Danganronpa ships that I like. I felt nostalgic since I reencountered those old posts during Naegiri week, and now that I’m into other fandoms like Persona and Genshin Impact, I thought I’d bring it back.
This is more for fun than anything, I’m not too crazy about Genshin’s ship scene, but I thought it would be a cool thing to do, as well as a way of getting my favorite pairings more attention. Since Ayaka is my favorite ship for traveler, I started with this one.
Also WARNING: This is really cheesy and contains a lot of fluff.
Who confessed first?
Ayaka would develop feelings and start crushing hard for the Traveler during their journey’s together, and then eventually confesses them to him.
Who initiated the first kiss?
I feel like Aether would be the first, but I don’t think it would be immediate. After Aether receives Ayaka’s confession, he’d probably be pretty conflicted. He definitely likes her the same way back, but he’s worried that whatever relationship he may start with her won’t last forever, and that he may move on from Teyvat if he saves his sibling. Eventually though, he would decide to do good things with the time that he has, and solidifies his feelings with a kiss.
Who asks the other out on dates?
Aether likes taking Ayaka to lots of other places around Teyvat. Since she spent so long in Inazuma, everywhere is a new experience for her.
Who’s the bigger cuddler?
Ayaka’s status and life at home means she’s rather touch starved. Her parents aren’t around and Ayato is often too busy to make time for his sister. Aether’s hugs are naturally very welcome and warm.
Who initiates holding hands more often?
Ayaka likes to feel close to him.
Who remembers anniversaries?
They both do, without fail. Although it’s more of a struggle for Aether due to how many connections he has over Teyvat already.
Who is more possessive?
Ayaka knows that Aether will often be in other lands travelling and continuing with his journey, so she hardly wants to let him go when they’re together.
Who gets more jealous?
Ayaka does, but not in a spiteful way. When she sees Aether get along well with other people, she starts to doubt herself and wonder if she’s not good enough for him.
Who is the most protective?
They are both equally as protective of each other.
Who initiates sexy time the most?
“Sexy time” is not really what these two are about, but when it does happen, Aether is usually the one who instigates it. Ayaka is too shy.
Who dislikes PDA (Public Display of Affection)?
Ayaka doesn’t want her relationship to be public knowledge. Even though Aether is recognized as a hero, she worries that a scandal might be caused if the Inazuma public finds out they are dating.
Who kills the spider?
Aether probably uses the spider as a crafting material.
Who asks the other to marry them?
Ayaka wants to, but marriage is a commitment, and as her brother states, one of the most important decisions of your life. She knows that she wants to be with Aether forever, but also knows that might not be possible once his journey comes to an end. After being in a relationship with Ayaka, Aether starts to doubt if he really wants to leave Teyvat, and if he would rather stay here with her. So while neither have gotten around to it yet, Aether is the one who would propose first.
Who buys the other gifts?
Aether is always bringing Ayaka little knick-knacks when she visits the Serenitea Pot
Who would first bring up the idea of having kids?
They already have Paimon, and the idea of having a family would embarrass Ayaka. That being said, thoughts like what she would name their child often come to her mind.
Who is more nervous to meet the others parents?
To state bluntly, neither really have parents. Aether’s are practically non-existent while Ayaka’s are already passed away. The real challenge though would be telling Ayato about their relationship. Although Ayato is a calm individual, he is also very protective of his sister, so Aether would be nervous of how he may react if he finds out they are together.
Who sleeps on the sofa/couch when the other is angry?
Aether.
Who tries to make up first after arguments?
Ayaka. She does so even when the problem isn’t technically her fault, which makes Aether feel insanely guilty.
Who tells the other they love them more often?
They don’t say words of love to each other often, but again, it’s in regards to keeping their relationship on the down low. Ayaka is the one who gushes Aether up more though, and she enjoys their time together more.
Who accidentally pushes a door instead of pulling it or vice versa?
Ayaka can be very clumsy sometimes when she’s not thinking straight.
Who doodles little hearts over the desk with their initials inside?
Aether probably scribbled some notes on the woodwork in the Serenitea Pot where you’d have to look hard to see it.
Who starts the tickle fights?
Aether. Again, Ayaka is touch starved, so she’s not really the one who instigates these things. She has a lot of fun with them though.
Who starts the pillow fights?
Aether teaches Ayaka about pillow fights since he’s used to having them with Lumine and Paimon. Usually when pillow fights happen, they’re on the same team against other people at a sleepover. Between each other though, Ayaka is usually the one who starts them, after being influenced by him.
Who is the last to fall asleep while watching the other with a warm smile?
Aether.
Who kisses the other awake in the morning?
Ayaka.
Who mistakes salt for sugar?
Ayaka does. She doesn’t often make this mistake, but Aether NEVER makes this mistake.
Who comes up with the cheesy pickup lines?
Aether does, but Ayaka doesn’t get half of them. Sometimes she doesn’t realize she’s been flirted with until hours later, and then she gets flustered. This confuses Ayato, Thoma and the other members of the Kamisato household.
Who rearranges the books in Alphabetical Order?
Ayaka does subconsciously. She has a sort of OCD after having been raised in a prim and proper household.
Who licks the spoon when baking?
Paimon does. And then the other two do as well.
Who buys candles for dinner, even when there’s no special occasion?
Ayaka. She likes the ambience, but it also may have something to do with how she’s used to fancy dinners.
Who draws little tattoos on one another with a pen?
Aether did it once, but got in a lot of trouble when Ayaka couldn’t get it out. She had to wear a different outfit that day to hide it, much to everyone’s confusion.
Who comes home with a souvenir/fridge magnet whenever they go on holiday?
Ayaka always comes back with something whenever Aether takes her to another nation like Mondstadt and Sumeru. When Aether goes somewhere without her however, he will usually come back with a present for her.
Who convinces the other to fill out those couple surveys that you usually find on the back of magazines?
Ayaka is forever curious about these things.
Who leaves notes written in fog on the bathroom mirror?
Aether likes leaving Ayaka a little message if he showers first.
Who asks if they can join the other in the shower?
Ayaka is very embarrassed to be seen naked or underdressed by anyone, so it’s surprising when she accompanies Aether in the bath. He’s one of the only people she trusts to show her body to, and sometimes it gets very romantic~
Who loudly proclaims their love while drunk?
Ayaka can get very brazen when high on alcohol. Aether has to make sure that she doesn’t accidently spill anything.
