The Lovers on Reverse

The Lovers in Reverse:  When has your character experienced heartbreak?

There’s been several times in his life that he has experienced heartbreak, one of them, even recent. Such a thing might surprise most that know Rielen considering he’s extremely cruel to even his children, but there’s a reason he is the way he is. The first time he felt such deep sorrow was when his third child, Lynn, was taken from him at such a young age. The second came in a quick swoop at the hands of his enemies once again, this time they took his wife and eldest son Drais.

Lastly, was making the decision to release Aevi and give her a new life away from the debt her husband owed. It was probably the most selfless act he made and it hurt like hell to do it but he knows she’s better off.
