I was thinking a lot about Human Domestication Guide, and I realised something that trully infuriates me
Humanity was likely bought as a novelty by the Afni
Think with me, the number of nukes, napalm, white phosphorus and all types of weapons of war and cruelty. In a all out war, with humans putting their full backs to it, its either mutually assured destruction or just victory
And yet that doesn't happen, there is mentions of rebellion and resistance, of a peace treaty, but not a war of that scale. Which means humanity *did not* put its back into it, there wasn't a fight
The people in charge of the world's governments didn't fight for their population, which is why I say they sold humanity, they were promised lavish gifts in exchange for using the apparatus of opression of the state to stamp down resistance from humans, to submit to the afni, aand they accepted it
Humanity was betrayed by the worst of itself, sold and enslaved
There was never a chance to fight, and all those who fought regardless lost
And the thing that infuriates me the most, is that tracks, is that that isn't surprising, the afni would've won if they showed up, and that's infuriated
