haku. well atleast there isn’t blood coming out of his face
itachi. he’s here! but that’s pookie so (slaps ribbon on his forehead)
and now i get to win by going to sleep 👍🏽 does this? count as fanart ? unsure but it’s for yew 💖
WHAT. WHAT !!!!!! this is so cute i’m in tears what a gift to wake up to 💖 Ame Team Four’s very normal genin team !!
“note: saying things in a level tone does not make them normal” —> this should be the tagline of field of mirror lmaoo. i love haku nestled in so cozily to his cloak collar.
“note: that thing you’re thinking: stop that” this only encourages him to think it harder. like telling a cat not to knock a glass off the table. i love his adorably unhinged expression….
“note: what the fuck” i’m as surprised as you are !!!! and yet !!! (i can’t get over deidara’s little pleased face. he’s so smug to be acknowledged as number one 😂 that’s my normallest boy right there !!)
this is so very delightful, thank you so much!!
Eternal Ping Pong
my new song so cool song cool new
15, 11, and 3 for Field of mirrors! For the ask game.
Thank you!
3: What’s your favorite line of narration?
They had shared meals, before, Haku and those men who had come with his father to kill him. Such was the way of the village. The shepherd had once allowed all the children to pet a lamb, and a month later, had fed them its ribs.
more of a paragraph, but I just really like this anecdote as part of Haku's story.
11: What do you like best about this fic?
i enjoy how much of it is set while traveling, as opposed to being bound to a location. most of my other fics have a more fixed setting. but haku doesn't have a home in a physical place, but his emotional home has also been lost. i think it's a fun way to do coming of age. another thing compels me a lot about haku is how outside the system he is. so I get to explore that too.
15: What did you learn from writing this fic?
i like to think it's helped me learn to write fight scenes a bit more. doodling a little storyboard for the one with suigetsu really helped me visualize what i want to happen in the scene.
^ the storyboard in question. from. 13 months ago 💀

What is AFOM?
AFOM, or A Flicker of Midnight, is a story project I’ve been working on for a while. It’s only in the beginning stages right now, but hopefully it’ll grow as time passes. Always open to questions!
(P.S., there may or may not be elves)
