It is the main event

This relationship with God is one that starts now, but looks forward to the day when we enjoy life with God in a world made new forever. And that world made new is not the 'after-life' like some afterthought. It is the main event. It is where God's rescue plan has been heading. And the new creation is not a fluffy world of clouds and angels in nightshirts. This present world is the flimsy world where things rot and rust and fade and die. Black Widow (2020) [👍] Klart en av Marvel-filmerna värd att ge en chans.

Blixt Gordon / Flash Gordon (1980) [👍] Lökig SF när den är som allra bäst.

Breach (2020) [👎] Den har Bruce Willis, det är det enda positiva som finns att säga om den, och han är inte ens särskilt bra.

Fars lilla tös (2018) [👍📺🆓🎭] Äntligen bjuder Eva Rydberg på 2018 års uppsättning av "Fars Lilla Tös" med dottern Birgitta i huvudrollen. Skynda fynda på Eva Rydbergs YT-kanal (länk i listan ovan)!

Femte Elementet, det / Fifth Element, the (1997) [👍🔁] Luc Bessons klassiska SF. Fortfarande bra och fortfarande bättre än mycket av dagens SF.

Starship Troopers (1997) [👍🔁] Paul Verhoevens fasist utopi, som likt Atwoods "The Handmaids Tale" bara blivit mer aktuell med åren.

Total Recall (2012) [🔁] Mindes den som bättre än vad jag väntat då det begav sig, men måste erkänna att den inte blivit bättre med tiden. Att jag mer eller mindre skrev samma omdöme förra månaden som jag skrev 2013 när jag först såg den är talande.

Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets (2017) [👍🔁] Har sina problem, men var ändå bättre än jag mindes den. Filmens största problem är kanske att dess två huvudrollsinnehavare har 0 kemi med varandra.

Jag hade tänkt se Starship Troopers 2 och 3 med, men vete sjutton om ST2 är värd att betala för. 😋 Annars tycker jag att man skall se "Fars Lilla Tös" nu när Rydberg bjuder på den. 🙂

A trio of ornamental funereal urns on the top of this late 1880's building (two have broken off on the building to the left), reflecting the Victorian's strange obsession with the after-life being incorporated as decorative elements into their architecture. Big fans of the seance and such like, they were, and the urns are still everywhere. Erskineville.

Damn, this is where I got teary-eyed. Because I’m like Eleanor. Hating the feeling of knowing the one you love is leaving you but Chidi sharing a Buddhist wisdom here really hits you differently. This shows the beauty of this show. It has been forking four years of insane goodness. I got nothing but warmth and positivity from The Good Place. This is a comedy show but the moral lessons are no joke. It will have a special place in my heart. I will miss this show.
