There are many colourful waterfront places to stay that are just stunning . . 🚕 Most people will head towards Bocas del Toro once they arrive in Panama and the shuttles are quite expensive but not necessary if you are on a budget. . . 🚌 The bus is half the price of the shuttle and super easy and surprisingly comfortable. Take the bus from just outside the supermarket to Changuinola and then take a second bus to Almirante. Tell the driver you are going to Bocas and he will drop you off at the port. The beautifully clear waters are great for snorkelling and seeing them up close . . 🤓 Did you know, if a starfish loses a limb it can regenerate though the process can take up to a year . . 🏖️ Starfish Beach is free to visit and you can reach it by water taxi or by bus. Take the bus from the main park on Bocas del Toro island.
