💕 Flamingos can be spotted year round in the Galapagos. This one we saw in the brackish waters on Isabella Island . . 🍼 Interestingly, there is no difference in the appearance or colouring of the males and females. They also both help to build the nests, sit on the eggs and nurse the baby chicks. ❤️💙The colours of Comuna 13 💜💚 . . 😁 Once the most dangerous neighbourhood in Medellin, Comuna 13 could not have changed more. Walking around we were constantly greeted by locals with smiles on their faces, and children who wanted to practice their English . . 🎫 We would recommend first seeing Comuna 13 as part of a tour as its great to put some context to what you are seeing and it's a little difficult (though not impossible) to find your own way around. 🌎 The beautiful gentle shores and warm water of this fishing town in Colombia near Santa Marta called Taganga. It has various places to eat, few bars and hostels, a hike across the cliffs, mirador of the beach (just before you get to town) with a secret beach if you follow the path over the wall and down the cliff, local seafood delicacies and optional fishing boat tours. #Taganga #Santamarta #colombia #fishing #boats #dog . 🚌 Directions: From Cartagena there are shuttle services that directly go to Taganga for COP $45.000. You can avoid the long way to the bus station in Cartagena and the transfer in Santa Marta bus station.
