Literally no one but CAMEO knows Aries came prebuilt with a smokin' humansona avatar because he never uses it unless its for Frank (Roswell). Because of that though, Arie3s doesn't have a proper voice, his physical drone body uses a text-to-speech voice instead :P

Did I ever tell you guys about Agent Aries, aka Isaac the Black Sheep?

He's the neglected younger brother of Lanolin, a literal bastard child from an affair that ruined his mother's marriage. He never did well in school but didn't do much better at sports, and it was never enough to earn his mother's love. That "love" was reserved for Lanolin. She was much better in academics, and their mother always told her that she could get any high paying job she wanted if she put her mind to it. (She gives Lanolin impossibly high standards. Lanolin pushes herself past her limits in an attempt to make her mother proud, which only moves the goalposts further. She envies Isaac because their mother never tries to push him too far, while Isaac envies her because she receives all of their mother's attention.)

When the Eggman war began, Isaac joined the Resistance and found his calling. He was immediately proving himself as an incredible soldier, finally earning praise and encouragement from his mother. When the topic of forming an elite strike force for space related missions was brought up, Isaac was an obvious choice. Isaac's mother praised him further and encouraged him by telling him that she couldn't wait to see him lead his own elite team. That was the last thing she would ever say to him before the mission that launched his team 2 years into the future.

When Star Squadron returned from their mission gone wrong, the first people they met were the 2nd Gen Diamond Cutters; led by Lanolin. Isaac was happy to see his sister alive and well... yet he couldn't help but feel depressed upon finding out that his sister, who he grew up feeling inferior to, was even more successful at the only thing he had ever felt truly "good at."

He tried to bury these feelings, both to be a good brother to Lanolin and to maintain the "strong" image he had built for himself. They wouldn't stay buried long, however, after their mother fell deathly ill. Isaac feared that she would never see him become the leader she wanted him to be, and Lanolin was cautious about going back home after she joined the Restoration against her mother's wishes.

This caused the siblings to clash, and that clash made their true feelings burst to the surface. How Isaac always felt inferior to his older sister, how their mother never gave him attention and praise until he joined the resistance, how she would dismiss everything else he did, how some restless nights he would hear her wishing he had never been born, blaming him for her divorce, and how Lanolin's role as leader of the Diamond Cutters means she truly was better than him at everything like their mother said.

Lanolin tells Isaac how she was always jealous of him because their mother never tried to push him further and further, how he didn't have to squeeze into the golden mold their mother made for her, that he was one of the biggest reasons she wanted to join the Restoration, their mother's failed marriage was never Isaac's fault, and that he was the most important person in Lanolin's life, even when he was seemingly dead.

This eruption of emotions was painful for both sheep, but necessary to understand the extent of their mother's abuse. They finally understood each other, and were closer than ever because of it.
