Gemini & Aries Friendship

A Big Thank You To Everyone

As we get ready for our Spring River trip I have to step back for a minute and say it has been a very good week. First off I got to celebrate my 23rd birthday. It was nice to watch my phone constantly blow up with people commenting on my Facebook wall. My birthday was also nice because work was nice and easy. Then we went to a friends house for dinner. Nice way to relax for a birthday that falls during the middle of the week.

Then to really kick off my birthday I noticed my blog here on Tumblr hit 1,000 page views. I know that is not that impressive on the internet, but it was big for me. Hitting little goals like 1,000 views keeps me motivated to put out more content. It took just under two years to get to 1,000 views and 65% of those views have come in the last three months. I guess I have done a better job at getting my stories out to the world. I will continue writing and my new goal is to take only a couple months to get the next 1,000 views. I have to thank everyone that has taken the time read a story or check on some pictures on my blog.

Thankfully tomorrow evening we will be getting to the Spring River. I have not been able to sleep all week thinking about getting in the river. It is supposed to be in the high 90's all weekend, but getting in that 58 degree water will keep us nice and cool. The latest fishing reports are saying that the trout as biting. The Arkansas Game & Fish Commission have been stocking trout in the river each week so the chances of catching fish seem to be getting even better. I hope the fishing this weekend keeps the excitement of the week going for me.
