A Voidsent who had spent decades as the Reaper Avatar to a small family of greenhouse farmers in Garlemald. The Soul Crystal used to call on Yuriel was passed down as an heirloom. They were not Reapers in any traditional sense, none of the family was trained in the arts. They all treated Yuriel as if they were just another member of the family, repaying their services in protecting their fields by offering some of the livestock as Aether. Yuriel quickly grew attached to the family in turn, as well as being in awe of the bright world they found themselves in. Tragedy eventually struck however, and Yuriel was soon forced from their mortal home and family and entrapped once again in the Void. There they spent years upon years feverishly trying to find a way back to the ones they considered family, the ones they made a vow to protect. Upon hearing of Golbez's plan to break through to the Source, however, the rogue Voidsent felt it best to thwart his plans and protect the realm they held so dear from his dark influence. Stealing draconic aether from Barbariccia and becoming forever warped by it, Yuriel fought in vain to destroy the Voidsent Knight. They were imprisoned below Troia and left to rot for decades...until one fateful day they were set free. Yuriel is extremely, fanatically loyal to anyone they consider family. Their sense of love borders on unhealthy obsession, willing to do near anything asked of them and fearing disapproval from their loved ones above all. To most however, they are quite aloof and coy, very playful with their words and actions. Yuriel proclaims a deep love for all the people and the lands of the Source, considering it their true home over the Void. They spend most of their days now traveling the star in disguise, wanting to desperately to once again be considered part of a family again.
