Hi guys here’s some Lupus Automata related sketches I’ve done recently between work and school featuring Lu, Ai and Ahnyo and their awful life of piracy and organized crime . Lu voice I love being in an isolated unsafe environment all the time with nobody to support me. Guess I’ll die .

Lu’s father is a creep and you’re supposed to be disgusted by the way he treats his son as an object or an extension of his dead ex. I feel like I shouldn’t have to explain it but this is the piss on the poor website so

Some lumata related scraps I’ve accumulated over the last semester or so, some are exploratory, some are already finished and some will go nowhere . I promise this story has a direction and isn’t just me putting my characters in the torture nexus and biology vagueposting. Most importantly ☝️ I think the first one deserves to have the original context of the sketch/idea I had because I think the finished version didn’t do it justice.

I’ve been thinking about Lu a lot lately. There’s so much about his character that I just haven’t said much about but he’s sooo. AUGHH. Imagine being a child soldier to the leader of an interstellar piracy regime and said leader is your father who doesn’t treat you like a person.

(And when it comes to cultural biases and stereotypes regarding your species and you as an individual the people around you hate you at worst and objectify you at best)

I’ve been wanting to stretch my creative muscles lately and work on diversifying my designs, so I had a lot of fun working to make a cool little page on Lu’s species in lupus automata and how different Vivenites look! Funny bug alien people… .

Yes I copied and pasted lu from a recent drawing of him but he was a reference that I incorporated Oh Kay

Finished da ref for Lu’s dad that I was working on!!! he sucks really bad !!!!

A lot of the Vivenite-origin stuff has an organic look and feel to it which I think will be a lot of fun to play with design wise :3c

Currently thinking about Lu. Again. My little alien bug who is a “prince in need of rescue” but forced to be a knight to the pirate king. Dads am I right
