When I think an image or video is AI or AI upscaled, I download the png, or take a screenshot of a questionable frame in the video, and I send it through AT LEAST these four websites:
(not "pick your fave site," you need all of them if not more)
👀Sight Engine- You'll need to scroll up once you submit an image, and it will tell you the percentage of each popular consumer model AI used on the picture. 9/10 times effective in my use experience.
📲Was It AI?- Shows you a scale of confidence as to whether or not the image contains AI. Note this scale doesn't say how MUCH generation was used, but whether or not the image fits the criteria OF being AI. 9/10 times effective in my use experience.
🤖Decopy AI- This uses it's own AI (I'm pretty sure) to asses the image and break down it's red flags. YOU WILL NEED TO READ IT'S BREAKDOWN TO ENSURE IT UNDERSTANDS THE IMAGE. 4/10 times effective in my use experience, but the breakdown can be useful for comparing to the next website:
✨Undetectable AI- Shows you a new copy of the image that points out which pixels are generated and which are not. This is the newest site I've been using, but, so far, 10/10 times effective for me.
Again, use ALL OF THEM, not just one. They each tell you different information and you will get the most trustworthy picture from comparing all their results. This usually takes me three minutes or less, but now that all the links are in one place, this method will probably only take us a minute to use lol. Also, if you have a detection program you like, or if you've had different experiences with these websites, drop that info in the comments or reblog cause it will be useful to at least somebody- just make sure to mention whether it's software or in browser lol
edit- Hey guys, let's look up what "cherry picking," "straw mans arguments", and "compare and contrast means!" I know there's a lot of words here, but I need you guys to read ALL of them to keep from misunderstanding. ThankS.
