Dinovember 17: Mandarin duck

Do ducks enjoy the starry night? I hope so 😊 It's funny how using the leftover colours of my watercolour case is producing some of the more striking drawings.

The scan doesn't hit the same as the real pigments. Maybe I'll make a post at the end of November collecting all the drawings and touching them up a little for screen display.

A Petrified Duck

A male Mandarin Duck (Aix galericulata) that had probably got spooked by the photographers high up on a tree in Bushy Park. This was the first time that we have seen this duck in London.
